I've been looking, but there are literally none there. :( I've looked online as well, and they all seem to be the traditional bride and groom standing on top of the cake. I'd like something a little different that still fits our theme.
I guess a better way to put it would be, "What sorts of vintage-style things that aren't actual cake toppers can I put on top of our cake?"
@artbee: Oh, fun! I never even thought of that...and it'd be a great homage to my Grandma, who collects S&P shakers. :)
Those are both cute, though I'd like to avoid the traditional bride and groom thing if possible. :)
I absolutely love this cake topper! I got one similar to it that is normal size, to have as a momento from the wedding to put on display in our future house

@Ginger87: Oh, that's very cute. :) A bit rustic for my taste, but I do love it.
It's Willow Tree Promise if you're interested. They have it at Hallmark or other stores like that
Does anyone know a good website for cake toppers. I am looking for a bride and groom topper as well.

The other cake topper post had me thinking about cake toppers, lol. FH and I haven't been able to find anything we like yet (the closest was a zombie bride and groom, modified from a traditional vintage-style cake topper, but I didn't want to drop $60 on it).
We don't really like monograms or cutesy cake toppers, so I guess I'm looking for some alternative suggestions. We're doing a 40s vintage-themed wedding, but he's not military so the soldier and bride type thing is out. We thought of using an antique pocket watch, but ditched that because obviously, it'd be too heavy. ;P
What are some fun alternatives to a traditional cake topper? We also thought of using our date as a cake topper, but it reminded both of us too much of a birthday cake that way (with all the numbers).
