Here’s my major WANT: toned arms & shoulders.  I’d like to lose a few pounds, but my dress is already 2 sizes too big, so I cannot go TOO crazy.  I’d really like my arms to be RIPPED though, since that’s the part of me that will be on major display all day.

I just want to be a tiny bit smaller all over. Like, if I lost 2kg it would be perfect probably.

But first I have to find my motivation??? Argh!!!

@BreezyBride24:  LOL — nooo… my dress was a sample and I bought it two sizes too big.  I wish I lost two dress sizes.. I’d be ecstatic!! 😉

My dress will be too small if I gain anything more than a pound before the wedding.

I’ve never had an issue with having to diet before – I was always underweight until I met my future husband. Ever since I met him I’ve been packing on the pounds because I’m actually happy.

At barely 5 feet tall and 105 lbs, you wouldn’t think I’d have to watch my weight. Sadly, now I have to. And really don’t know how I’m going to stay away from the junk food. Nor do I intend to stay away from it.

Maybe I’ll lose weight from stress of wedding planning!

I’m about 5′ 6″. When we got engaged I weighed 147 lbs (down from 155 lbs). I’m now down to 143 lbs. I want to be around 140 lbs. I am focusing on my arms, back, and waistline. I want to look great in my dress and in my bikini on my honeymoon!

I actually am hoping to gain a little weight but in muscle! I have always had trouble putting on weight and am consistently around 110 lbs at 5’8″. I’d like to pack on 5 lbs of lean muscle.

So right now this is me…

I would like to get closer to this look for the wedding:

I already go to the gym regularly…just need to cut back on the cardio and kick the weight training into high gear! Has anyone else done muscle building on a petite frame? If so do you have any advice??

Santa’s elves brought me passes to Corepower Yoga, wahoo!  I did the free week in early December and am excited to start going hardcore!!

Oh but in terms of fitness goals….I was working on a stressful startup in a tech incubator for most of the last year and let me say that free pizza at those tech events wasn’t free!  So my goal is to lose 2 inches all around which I think is totally doable before the wedding since (a) I have the time (b) I joined an online wellness community (c) I have yoga passes!

High fives to everyone else on Team May!

@BreezyBride24: Fun Simulator! Here’s the current me simulation and then a simulation of what I would look like after I lose about 20 pounds.

@BreezyBride24:  Hey, I’m about the same, right now I am 5’5 and 127lbs, ideally would like to get to 120lbs. But understand that it’s not always the lbs. As long as I get tighter and firmer I’d be happy with that. Loosing Body Fat, and increasing muscle mass, and staying at my current weight, would be fine by me!

Any chance of some of us girls buddying up to stay motivated on fitness, as well as planning?

My sexy fitness goal is ME haha, via 15 pounds ago! And I had a ton more muscle. I used to go to the gym 6x a week and had really strong legs and a super small waist. I want it back! Sorry for obnoxious pic haha but it shows what I want back! I was about 130

I started my fitness journey last February. I’ve been journalling it on katieworksout.blogspot.com and this fall has been so difficult for me!

With 4 months until the wedding, I’m aiming at a pound a week, consistent, slow, and continued loss with combined muscle gain. I’m halfway through the TurboFire program and have some nutrition challenges set for myself, so I should be cruising in at either a size 8 or 10 by May. I’m 5’10” and currently a size 12.

But really, it’s all about gaining health and moderation.
