I'm obsessed with the side profile of rings! I know it's weird, but I think that the profile of my ring is what makes it unique! So, please show me the side profiles of your ring AND your ring head on.

@KatNYC2011: Very pretty!! I have a regular old digital camera and it's really hard for me to take pictures too!
FH is so proud of the side that we decided to use the design on our cake (still need to remember to email our bakers the image)

This is one of the most important things I wanted in a ring, and I got it! This was a photo I took not long after getting engaged so it wasn't sized. I don't wear the snuggy ring thing anymore!!
Needs cleaning BADLY, but I think DH did a great job designing the profile. 
Here's mine, you can't see it very well in this pic, but it has a secret heart with a diamond on the lower half of the band! Love my Mark Schneider!

Ooo.. gotta remember to post here later. I'm at work right now but I'll add once I'm home, I've been meaning to photograph the profile of my ring, it's what makes Tacori's special (to me anyway).
@MissSawyer: Definitely! I'm thinking of a Tacori wedding band (to wear on its own) because the side profiles are soooo gorgeous! I can't wait to see yours!
Ok, heres the top of my ring! I love my ring obviously, I do some photography and got bored one day without a subject, so I used my ring! :)
Here's one! It doesn't really show how sparkly it is...

@CaliforniaLove: Thanks. You can do it! I will say though it does require a better camera, I took some with my pocket digital camera and they were horrible, I broke out the DSLR and they turned out AMAZING. Just have to think creatively, I have some ring shots in a glass of gummie bears! Use things that are around you and they will offset your sparkley ring! Be Inspired!
@Oneeleven: Thanks! I love it. FI did a great job. I really liked the Tiffany & Co Novo style (but not the pricetag). So FI picked a stone and setting out that looked similar and I LOVE it.

I don't think it's weird at all! I think good jewelry design means the ring looks good from all angles.
in fact, I'm currently obsessed with finding a new wedding band, because I'm still not sure if it looks right from the side.
here's my e-ring alone, and with the wedding band. the band is just a little too thick, it's overwhelming my small e-ring. (it doesn't look so bad in the photo, but trust me, in real life it overwhelms it.)
@Pomapoo: I look at (ring) porn once in a while in class and the people around me must think I'm soooo weird!
@CDubyaToCJay: I want a better camera sooo bad! But I rarely take pictures.. and if I did, 95% of them would either be of my ring or my dog.. hahaha. One of my friends is doing an engagement shoot for us, so I'm going to try to convince him to take some pics of my ring..

Here's mine. Sorry it's a bit blurry. The front and back have two windows with the scalloped illusion band at the top. The sides only have one window (since the band comes up on those sides) with the scalloped illusion band as well. I'm in love with it, and it's a family heirloom. What a sweet setting for the 30s- my great, great aunt had my taste :-)
@irapo: Ahhhhhh! A marquise! My mom has one.. so I've always had a place in my heart for that cut! Beautiful!
