I have been given permission to look for a nice e-ring (but no propsal yet). We are both happy for brilliant round and I really like the simple Solitare look with shoulders and that are a little higher than the typical tiffany setting but im also open to suggestions…. I would love if you could share the side on view of your e-ring as althought its not often seen I think that its important.

Mine sits a little lower than Tiffany settings. I thought I wanted Tiffany, but when I tried it on I felt it was uncomfortably tall for daily wear (on me). So we searched for a lower setting.
And from the top:

Ask and you shall receive! Mine is a lot lower than you seem to want, but I really like that about it because I don’t bang it on anything.

Thankyou everyone for your pictures so far 🙂
I cant get over how many different types there are out there, specially because we are looking to get it custom made its even harder to pick (I dont like much that in the store we are going to) Plus we are getting a moissanite 1.5ct so maybe its better to have a slightly lower one because it will catch? I think I like 6 prong (but happy with pics of 4s because I can imagine it as a 6) because its more secure and if SO does propose this year, its our 6 year anni (next week)… hehe.
Keep the pictures coming!! If you have advice on designing or websites that wouldnt have come up on google ie. James Allan etc please provide them. The design service is okay, not awesome but the product and price is amazing!!!! roughly $4K AUS in Platinum.
Not to be too excited but YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY for getting to this stage of looking and getting to pick it out myself (or offer three awesome ones and make him pick).

here’s mine! It’s from De Beers. It sits lower than Tiffany’s which is y i liked the De Beers setting better. I also like the 4 prong b/c as you can see you more of the diamond all way around
