We just picked ours this weekend!! Its made by Jasmine, style B2078... it will be in cobalt blue and tea or knee length. I love it! The girls range in bust size A-DD and it looked great on all! :)
My bridesmaids are picking their own (I just told them color and length at David's) but here are a few that they have liked/chosen:
Wow - I'm doing the same thing @ David's and those are the styles my girls liked too! I was worried about size/comfort/choice because I have a range of sizes (and busts!) to fit, but I think David's is the way to go.
My college roommate loves this one but says she does not want to have to wear "specialized undergarments" Luckily there are a lot of dresses to choose from but maybe she'll change her mind!

I chose these from Alfred ANgelo for our Labor Day weekend wedding. I have 7 maids that are every shape and size.

@Mochacoco did you find the one in the middle? I am looking one exactly like that!!
If you have some larger girls, I personally would stay away from strapless. Instead, I would look for something with a slight v-neck and wider straps.
But I will say I agree with krissyb, I had my BMs try on that dress and several like it, everyone looked good in it. Even my largest BM liked it and she is about 5'4" but big busted and a size 16. There would be a lot of hemming, but the top looked great.

@mochacoco - I saw that photo online a few days ago! This is exactly what I'm looking for! I want to do gray or pewter dresses and am having a really hard time finding non-BM looking dresses in that color. I think we're going to end up with Melissa Sweet or Bari Jay - a lot of theirs come in gray and look less cookie cutter bridesmaid.
Here are 3 of 4 in the first pic... they all picke their own. 2 are Dessy and 2 are Alfred Sung. The second pic wouldn't turn the Latte colour in the pic but this is what my older sis (who is larger) is wearing. :) I am happy with what they all picked! Each girl has a different body type.. this worked best for us.

jbbaby I think the one in the middle is made by BCBG the name is strapless metallic lace dress however I can't find it anywhere. Nordstroms carried it at one point but they don't carry it any longer. The one on the left is made by max and cleo and the one on the right is by rebecca taylor. I can't any of these dresses and I have tried. I am going to ask my sewing instructor if it is possible to find the patterns and make those dresses.
I am using Bill Levkoff 291 as pictured. I have 5 BM sizes 4-22. I picked these out right away but I am having a hard time finding my dress! Good Luck and Happy Searching.

This is my girls' dress, but it will be in a dark purple. Its by Impression, I forget the number but its shown in that color on their website too. I love it, I want one (thats me in the dress too, Im obsessed!!) And with the 10% discount cuz I bought my dress there it was only $139!!! Ive always paid more than that. Oh and it flares a little at the bottom, which resembles my dress but mine is a more dramatic flare.

I actually found mine at The Limited of all places! Pretty inexpensive ($80) and all the girls were able to buy them before the style sold out! Apparently I'm not the only bride who picked them...but hey that's OK, great minds think alike!

@aekarlen...you have great taste! That is the EXACT color combo one of my BMs wore in our wedding. Attaching a non-pro picture. All the girls wore Watters dresses, they were able to select the style (since I had girls size 0-12), it just had to be available in navy dupioni silk.

@aekarlen...thanks! It's a beautiful location, unfortunately it was overcast otherwise you would be seeing some serious mountain views behind us. What does your gown look like? Would love to see what you are wearing since I know the bridesmaid dress so well! :-) Congratulations and enjoy planning...it flies by.
Seriously, Watters makes some amazing dresses, there were a couple of styles I thought about ordering myself just to have around to wear to functions!! If you haven't ordered them yet we ended up getting them through Netbride for a ton less than the local bridal shops.

BUTTER BY NADIA WRAP DRESS!!!! i love them and i LOOOVVEEEE the color... the girls are wearing them all different ways and are going to be changing them as the night goes on.. i love it...

these are my dresses right now. They are very simple!! Im not in love with them...but they are cute and the girls all liked them. They are too long for all of my girls, so they will need to have them hemmed.

No photos of my girls in their dresses yet, but this is the dress everyone just decided on (in the Poppy color). I wanted something soft that they could possibly wear again. I am getting married outdoors in May of next year and I think these work well for an outdoor ceremony.

Hello Bees!!!
I am starting my search for BM dresses next month for our Sept 2010 wedding. I am looking for suggestions and ideas as I have been browsing but cant find any bm dresses at this point we all like. I have 3 lasrger girls and 1 petite and want them all to wear the same style dress and to be comfortable at the same time.
Please post photos of your bm's in their dresses or of the dress :) Thanks!!
