@CBWFlove:  Modcloth has some WONDERFUL shoes for a reasonable price (anything from 20-100+)

My shoes were like 30 with shipping?

@CBWFlove:  What do you consider “inexpensive”? Also, I’d consider specifically finding shoes that you will wear again so it won’t seem like such a waste. That’s what I did!

I ordered a few pairs from the clearance section of dsw. I’ll try them on with my dress when I pick it up tomorrow and see wat we like 🙂 one pair was $25, one was $30, and the others were $70 (but designer). Free shipping, free returns, hard to go wrong!

@CBWFlove:  Bought these for $20 on ebay. They have a nice low heel (3/4″) which was important because I am not good in heels and FI and I are already the same height. I plan to buy flower or rhinestone shoe clips on etsy to dress them up a bit, which might be another $10-20

@CBWFlove:  Oh! Well I got mine from fibiandclo.com. Most of their flat sandals are around $50 and they’re all super gorgeous.

I don’t have pics, but I got these awesome shoes at some random strange shop at the mall that sold all sorts of clothes, a few shoes, and lots of just junk nick nacks lol.  I only went in because my friend likes that sort of thing and while she was looking at the nick nacks I found them.. $20!  You never know where you’ll find things.

Mine were flats because we had an outdoor wedding and I don’t do heals anyway unless they are cowboy boots :).  Other similar shoes where $80 at places like Macy’s, Sears, and JCPenny (what we have in our mall)!  I’m sure the quality wasn’t as good, but honestly I didn’t really plan on wearing them more than once, so I was loathe to pay what I’d pay for a pair of boots I could wear for 20 years for 3/4 of each year easily!  Yes, I am spoiled on cowboy boots and how if you take care of them and have them resoled when needed (and I walk everywhere and/or take the bus) they practically last forever.  But DH’s only wedding requests were I wear a dress and not wear cowboy boots 🙂 so girly shoes it was!
