I love the bling and I am FLABERGASTED at all of the controversy regarding size on here. It seems like if you have large bling you're ostracized for it being too big, if it's a genuine diamond you bought into the "evil diamond trade" blah blah blah, but I personally love large diamonds and I KNOW that there are a bunch on here so please post them guilt free right here!

Beautiful! I personally love bigger stones but refuse to buy diamonds. There are just as beautiful of stones that are lab made and I just can't bring myself to justify the price of a real diamond when it's so hard to tell the difference anyway. We're talking about getting engaged so I've got to do some research. But congrats for you!

LOVE the rings ladies! My ring is over 2 carats, but the center stone is just over a carat. The band has some decent size diamonds it is as well. We got the wedding band custom made and that has over 1.4 carats so I think in total I'll be around 3.5+ carats. We joked with the cost of the wedding band included we should have just gotten a bigger center stone and a more simple band. This is what happens I guess when he picks it out on his own and has no idea of the cost of wedding bands. haha. I love my ring though and wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh, I also got some amazing 2ct earrings for Christmas to wear for the wedding, and I love those too. Yay for jewelry! lol

I think you ladies should rock those rings with confidence! If your men can afford them, more power to you! Don't apologize for them! I have a very small (4mm) white topaz and I love it, I really love my entire set! And my favorite part it is incredibly comfortable! I'm not a big jewelry person and kind of a klutz so I needed something comfortable that I wouldn't bang into stuff which I would totally do if I had a ring the size of yours! LOL!
Every once in a while I get ring envy (who doesn't)? But then I remember how much I love my rings and that it works for me!

My center stone is only 1.1 Carat but my TCW is 3.1 w/o wedding band & 4.1 with wedding band! So I wanna play if thats ok! Beautiful rings BTW!

I sometimes don't understand why people take things so seriously.... I mean if your ring doesn't fit the criteria.... then keep it moving. There is no need to post negativity. It's like some of the women attack you (us) because their rings aren't as big.

I fall a little under the 2+ c category with a 1.53c stone and .25 in the pave band. Maybe once I get my wedding band I'll break the 2 c total weight mark.
