I don't care if they're diamonds, moissanite, simulants, colored stones, etc. Just show them! :D Wanting to see some pretty rings!
How about this one. It's 3c:
Sorry, my e-ring is smaller than 2c.
Wow! That was hilarious! I was really excited to see some big rings since mine is a little over 1 ct (or carrot in this case) and instead I saw vegetables...which made me hungry..ha!
@jen24au: Oh I'm looking forward to seeing the big rings too. Just couldn't resist. I get a little punchy on Sunday nights.
@jen24au: I couldn't help myself either. I'm feeling a bit giddy tonight because I actually got some Vitamin E...it was 80 in St.L today and I soaked up some rays! I must admit that I'm a bit envious of the 3 CARROT ring though. I hope we didn't upset the OP or girls with BIG rings. I wanna see em!!!
Maybe I should have been more exclusive to only saying GEMSTONES. haha intsead of saying, "whatever, just 2ct and over". :P
@heyitssamyrae: Still wouldn't have anything to post since my ring is under 2c.
yesterday I saw a woman with a ring that must have been at least 4 carats for the center stone! or maybe even bigger, I really don't kow --- it looked approx 10mm wide from the top.
maybe it wasn't a diamond, but it did have lots of fire. I was in a really upscale mall, so I suppose it wouldn't be unheard of. of course I didn't ask her about it, she was just some lady in a store, but I could not stop staring at it!
@janie-janie: I know the feeling. I used to volunteer with my brother and sister's band and the president of the boosters had a crazy ring. I couldn't help but stare at it alll the time. She told my mom is was about 4.75 tcw.
If you guys want to look at some big rings, go to www.ringenvy.com. They give all the details and they're usually pretty big and nice! And you can "envy" them lol. :)
@janie-janie: Oh geez! I would have loved to see that! lol I probably would have also had a staring problem! I can't blame you, something THAT big just screams "LOOK AT ME!" haha
@Running Elley: Me too! I want to see them, which was the whole reason for this post, not for the sarcastic comments. lol geeez.
@jen24au: I forgot about ringenvy! I used to look at that cite all the time, but instead moved to here, where I can view everything in one place. Thanks for reminding me! :)
I feel bratty using this as my first place to post, but I'm (fairly) newly engaged, and I figured it would be a good place to start!
The center stone is a 2.5 carat cushion cut. He did well!
@LMD84: ahhhh beautiful cushion! I love that! I have a round solitaire and have been wanting to upgrade to a cushion or round halo, but I think I might just switch my main stone into a different setting and get a wedding set since I'm also still looking for a wedding band. BUT I can always upgrade to a cushion LATER, and yours is absolutely gorgeous! congratulations! :)
@heyitssamyrae: Thank you so much! I actually started my ring search wanting a round stone (set in yellow gold, but that's another story for another day). My now-fiance and I met with Leon Mege, a jeweler in Manhattan, and when he started showing me cushions, I was sold! I can't wait to get a non-cellphone picture to post, the ring is much prettier than my iphone wants to show!
@LMD84: That's awesome! I'm actually pretty excited because I'm getting my solitaire stone set into a different setting, which is actually a wedding set but it has side stones and milgrain detailing, so pretty! We're doing this for the same price as one wedding band that I liked, so I think we're getting a pretty good deal! I was trying to find the right wedding band for my current ring but wasn't having luck, but ran into a wedding set, and we talked to the jeweler and he can reset my 1ct stone into it and the whole thing won't cost more than $700! I'm pretty excited! It was a discontinued last sale item sort of deal, plus a percentage off of that, what luck huh!? lol And more pictures please! it's goregous! :D
@heyitssamyrae: That's awesome! I can't wait to see pictures! I read your post about being unsure of your ring and it's great that your fiance is working with you to make sure you're really happy with it.
We aren't having our engagement photo session until this summer, but I will definitely post clearer ring pictures after that! For now, here is the jeweler's picture of it (although the ring pictured has a 3 carat center stone and mine is 2.5)

These aren't the best pics. I can't figure out how to take a good picture of my ring!
3.11 carats. (And yes, I know I have big hands!)

Hello ladies.
I just found this board through a google search for moissanite.
I think there are not many 3-4ct rings on the wedding boards because that size stone tends to overwhelm a young, beautiful hand.
I on the other hand am celebrating my 30th anniversary with my Hb, and in the pictures is the token we chose to mark the occasion. ;)
It is 3.5 ct. I adore it. It makes me feel all giddy like a new bride-to-be. (again)
The older you get...the bigger the stone!
Enjoy!
This is my first post...please be gentle if I have broekn some rules about picture size etc. Thanks.
Here is mine!!!! I don't think many people would choose something like this, but I don't care - I love it.
Centre is 2.04

@twinsugar: Holy beautiful!! Did you have it custom made? It is so gorgeous...the center looks even larger than 2 carats!
@twinsugar : I love it!! I have a pear too and I rarely see them!
