I just posted mine the other day, but whatever! Here they are again! The diamond cluster is from my great grandmother, and the emerald is from somewhere on my mom’s side of the family.

@lavenderstone:  I absolutely love the star/flower shape of your ring!

Haha, as luck would have it, I’m looking to someday add an emerald, turquoise and an opal to my ring collection 🙂 The’re three of my favourite stones (and opal’s my birthstone). Those rings are all gorgeous! The emerlad in particular; love the square shape, and the inclusions.

Here are the pictures I have of some of my collection:

@MrsSnowMountain:  Your collection is so pretty! What is the stone in the 2nd to last picture?

It’s weird, in real life my emeral is much more, well, emerald-shaped, not square. But sadly the inclusions are one of the reasons I don’t wear it very often. Emeralds are fairly soft to begin with, and the inclusions just mean it’s that much more likely to break if I hit it on something :-/. Plus the setting is already a bit loose… I’m thinking about having it re-set in a sturdier setting so I can wear it more. Maybe a half bezel.

My great uncle made this for his wife. I don’t know any specs on it at all Other than it is gorgeous and sparkly.

Here are mine. None of these were inherited, I got them for myself and I switch them off every so often. But I’ll be very happy to one day pass them off to my kids or grandkids 🙂 From the top row starting on the left and then the bottom row starting from the left.

1. Antique white gold diamond ring, probably from the 20’s

2. Yellow gold solitaire, probably also from the 20’s or 30’s

3. Emerald halo in white gold, but the emerald is in pretty bad shape so I’m going to put a blue zircon in its place and re-build the bezel setting. Unsure of the era.

4. Sapphire and diamond ring in platinum, possibly by Tiffany’s (not verified, but the faint Tiffany’s stamp is there). I think maybe the 30’s on that one too.

Everyone’s rings are so pretty.  I love antique rings.

I recently ordered a Victorian era garnet cluster ring.  I don’t have it yet, but here’s an Etsy picture of it.
