I am planning a beach wedding and have a dress type in mind, but I'd love to see pictures!

my dress was actually a lot less "beachy" and more traditional than i anticipated getting but i think it looked great that day!
Beachfanatic, your dress and photos are beautiful! I love the way the more traditional gown looks against the beachy backdrop. Where did you get married?
thanks! i still went with something fairly simple, not blingy or glittery or too big...

Here's mine (wedding next month). It was so hard to find something flowy and light but still with enough structure to be flattering! Here it is on me, and on the model:

Such beautiful dresses! All your weddings look like so much fun. At first I really wanted a short dress, but now I can't stop looking at long ones.

This dress was also one I had on my list to try on, but I decided on the first one before I ever found this one in a store. It's Wtoo 13336 Isadora.

@Heather Bower: I love that dress!! I would get that for my beach wedding if I didn't already have a dress!
I decided on Maggie Sottero Venecia but I am probably going to cut off the train. It is a lot more formal dress than I thought I wanted but I fell in love with it when I tried it on! Sometimes I think I should have went with something more light and simple!
@ms.walter I got my dress before we decided to get married at the beach. I also wish i got something more light and simple. But I still love my dress and it works because the bottom is flowy like waves but it is alot of dress. Your dress is beautiful too. I can't wait, i go into my last fitting after work today. I'll post some pics tomorrow. :)
We didn't have our wedding on the beach, but took photos there between the ceremony and the reception. I changed into this dress and hairflower from my heavy trumpet ceremony dress with a long train and cathedral veil. It felt very comfortable fully bustled and amazingly I didn't get the hem dirty at all.

Here's the other I considered from the Limited collection, for some reason it looks a hundred times better on a real person than on this model
@meliss: Yes i live in Vegas but we are renting out a beach house in North Carolina and we will have the ceremony on the beach then the reception in the house. I'm so excited i can't wait.
Here's mine. We're technically having our wedding on a patio overlooking the beach... but the waves are literally going to be crashing 1 foot away and 3 feet below us (it's on a little bluff), and our wedding is beach-themed so I still wanted something light and flowy.

I actually love all the dresses. I'm having such dress regret...must find a new one.
This is the one I chose for my resort wedding in Jamaica. Can't wait till she arrives in August! (it's WToo Dulconee)
I tried that one on when I was looking and I lovvveeee it! Great choice! It is such a flattering dress!
