My girls are wearing the JCrew silk taffeta in either the halter sangle style or strapless sangle in Brook color, which is a lighter blue....Here's the link since I can't seem to load any pics up on weddingbee...
My girls are wearing Jim Hjelm style 5881 in Indigo (the color shown here is teal) the fabric is GORGEOUS, the navy is such a rich color. They were a bit pricier, I want to say 230, but I didnt want my girls over 150 either and they picked this bc it looked amazing on everybody

Thanks for the inspiration thus far. I guess I should mention two of my girls are significantly endowed in the breast department which rules out a lot of the J.Crew dresses (unfortunately). Can't wait to see more :)
I haven't decided 100% on dresses yet, but here are two that I'm seriously considering.
It took me awhile to find blue dresses I liked for my bridesmaid. I wanted to keep them under 150 as well. Here is what I found that i liked the best. The color is a royal blue(Horizon is the name)
These are mine.. but they are a bit darker in real life. More like the blue in my avatar. They came out to be around 160 (but I don't know what the original price was, they are from where I purchased my wedding dress so she claims she gave me some sort of discount on the bm dresses?) The website says between 150 and 175.
oh, and I am a DD and I tried on the dress for fun.. and it was very flattering and my boobs did not spill out. It also hid my baby belly really well (I've had 2 kids, does not matter how much weight I get rid of, my belly never forgets what it went through!!)
@ lishandkev, thanks for the fit comment, I was avoiding strapless dresses for fear of overflow but maybe there is hope. Do you know the designer of that dress?
It's from alfred angelo..
oh and if you ever find a strapless dress that you just love but don't want to do strapless, most come with detachable spaghetti straps
what shade of blue are you hoping for? I did short navy dresses. they are all by melissa sweet. one of the girls was already well endowed and breast feeding in her dress...but the dress was still very flattering.
Thanks for the help ladies!
Future Mrs. Morgan, I love the dress with the pleats!! I'm thinking of doing the different styles, same color/fabric thing too, we will def. look at Melissa Sweet now.
So many new options. In my continued search, I also found Coren Moore http://www.corenmoore.com/ Georgeous dresses but most cose more than I feel comfortable asking them to spend.
Future Mrs Morgan, I looove those dresses! These are the ones my gals are doing also in brown as well
The alfred angelo indigo and navy colors are nice...they have a lot of styles to choose from, and many for well endowed girls. The dresses are about 160 for a long dress, not sure about a tea length or cocktail length dress.
All three of my girls loved this dress...its a Mori Lee. Its so cute...I cant wait till they come in. I just hope we didnt order them too soon. I think some of them are going to be needing alterations!
I think I have decided on After Six style 6562 in Violet. The material is iridscent taffeta which really picks up the light and adds a little flair to the traditional bridesmaids dress. In store, the price tag was $178. I think I have decided on green/pink/white bouquets for them, with a violet/green/pink/white bouquet for me.
Good luck with the search!
You can see pictures of my DB bridesmaid dresses at:
We're the second shoot down.
They were less than $150 and fit a variety of sizes beautifully!
doctorgirl - I love your wedding!!! So many great little details while keeping it totally down to earth. Congrats! Where did you get your dresses from?
I am using Dessy Style 6553 in the midnight color! My friend who is also planning her wedding sent me an email she received that had these dresses on sale for $120! :)))

I need some major inspiration, my though has always been to put the girls in Navy but I haven't found a dress I really like. The guys will most likely wear black tuxes with navy ties. I recently began considering more of a medium blue (J. Crew's Hazel blue) with a navy accent of some sort (belt, shoes, bracelet, etc.). I'm hoping to keep the dress below $150 so as not to cause the girls too much of a burden and am open to all ideas long and short but no bubble hem and no pick ups - I like a more simple classic style.
Thanks for the inspiration!
