I can’t remember where I got this dress from. I think I got it from Franchesca’s.

I got this from 6pm.com wore it for my shower with a purple cardigan since my shower was in April (chilly), then wore it again for my rehearsal. I got a ton of compliments on it. It’s a Donna Morgan dress.

Love it! I’ve been thinking about this a lot. I feel like I HAVE to have a white dress, but I also feel like white is not as flattering haha. Damn.

I would love to find something like this dress, perhaps on modcloth but I’m not sure about not being able to try it on.

Btw, Le Chateau has a great sale on right now! 🙂

BurlapnLace:

It was poofy at the bottom. I think there was crinoline underneath. I got it from Asos.

For some reason I wasn’t able to post my pro photos. I think I was doing something wrong. I planned to do a full recap but it’s been some time now.

Sorry for the thread jack.

BurlapnLace:  lol. Asos has quite a bit of club clothing but also some other items for all ages and sizes!

BurlapnLace:  This one from Jil Sander is cute. It is plain but would look perfect with a statement necklace.

I’m ashamed to say I bought three different dresses for my shower! I was trying to find somethin cheap, I didn’t want to spend $100 on a white dress I will wear for a few hours. I ordered a dress from forever 21 online (as the plus size is only available online in most of canada) and the dress was a total flop. It might work once I lose 20 more pounds, but the cut outs and sheer lace make it more club appropriate. I tried a second dress from f21 again, and it was OK, but my chest was too large for this dress and I actually busted the strap off (hulk boob style) lol. I wasn’t a fan of the embroidery on it (which I knew it was going to have, I just wanted to get a dress and be done with it) Then I got a coupon or Additionelle, so i figured, why not? I went in, and found the last sample of this dress, but it was a size too big! I bought it anyways and my close friend (sews on the side) is taking it in all over for me. She ended up trying on my second dress, the one with the broken strap and she is going to take it and fix the strap and keep it and is doing alterations on my actual dress for free! So, win-win lol. In total, I paid $23.80, $29.90, and $30 on the final dress after 50% off sale and $15 coupon. So I spent $83.70 in total. Sigh. At least it is less than the $100 I wanted to be under 😛

I am wearing it with a rose gold metallic thin belt, nude wedges, and have to find a necklace or earrings still.
