I'm in the same boat you are except I'm near Chicago and it's in the beginning of March. I would like to wear a spring dress but I'm afraid that it won't be weather friendly. I've been looking online for 2 days at dresses and I'm not have much luck. 
I'm plus sized so this has been a tricky part for me too. I found a good selection at Macy's so far. I bought this dress for my bridal shower... I am waiting for it to come in and see if it looks right. But I am still looking should it not work out.

I love the purple dress! You could really snazz it up with some pretty earrings and a bracelet!
I love the purple dress! I need to look for a dress for my engagement pictures!! I'm plus size, and I always have to order dresses online, which I hate because 75% of the time I have to send the clothes back!
@champagne wishes LOVE that dress! I have been looking for soemthing like that to wear to our rehearsal dinner!
I am probably going to recycle a dress I bought recently for my birthday...from Anthro (I'm a total Anthro junkie btw...It's like my heroin..I'm actually wearing another Anthro dress today!)

I have a lot of showers....but it is fun to have an excuse for dresses!
This last one is for a shower turned bachelorette party.
If I buy one more dress my FI is going to kick my butt! so no more cute dresses for e, just rewearing work stuff :(

My bridal shower is coming up in March, and I have no idea what to wear! I definitely want to wear a dress, but because the shower's in Boston in March I don't want anything too summery. Here are two ideas I'm considering - I'd definitely have to jazz up the plain gray one with a cardigan and some fun accessories.
