Mine is set pretty low.  I prefer the look of a cathedral setting because it seems to flow better.. πŸ™‚

LOVE the setting in your picture!

I wasn`t too hot for the height of the cathedral at first, but love mine now.  Mine is a solitaire, with cathedral tulip setting.

That setting is beautiful!! Love the hidden detail! Here is mine…it took so getting used to but I love love love it!!

I too was very worried when I first recieved mine. He bought it all on his own. I am not one for large rings and was very worried about the hight. I even thought about it seconds after saying yes and staring at my ring..thinking “wow this is high”. Somehow though I have fallen in love with it. It does not feel high now that I am used to it being on my finger. In fact I like the structure to it now. Its a little different and as another poster said it flows nicely. The side diamonds flow up nicely to the center stone. I would not worry about the “wall” since once you get the wedding band it will sit nicely and not feel so much like a “wall”.
