I don’t have a tree yet either. My family doesn’t start with Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving or December 1st or so.

I’d love to see pics of trees if anyone has them up though!

I put up our tree though I’m not lighting it yet, or have it decorated. We’re traveling out of town this week for Thanksgiving, and I wanted to come back and have the Christmas stuff ready to go so I put everything up today. I’ll post a pic next week once we get the lights and ornaments on the tree since it’s naked at the moment. 🙂 I love it, though. This is my husband and I’s first Christmas together married and I bought a tree the other day for our place. It’s one of those 7 foot slim trees and looks perfect in the spot that we put it in.

Our Christmas “tree” is a 5ft tall giraffe! our daughter will be 1 on the first of December and we are very Christmasy people. We thought it would be fun to have a unique tree! We plan to put tinsel on it. Her name is Holly lol.

Canadian here! That means Thanksgiving is in October and I can have my tree up whenever I please!

We’re living with my parents this Christmas (FI is from New Zealand and immigration threw a wrench in our living arrangements when he had to go home for 6 months), so we forfitted our big tree for this little 3 footer. I love it though! Makes our little basement apartment feel like a home:

I just added this sucker I DIY’d since FI and I watch the Harry Potter movies every winter:

Our tree is silver and blue, but there’s a bacon ornament in there too, and a skull bride and groom hihihi.

I agree way too early. It’s custom to decorate after Thanksgiving. My boyfriend’s exwife and kids put up their tree the day after Halloween. WTF?
