I didn’t do a full tower but here’s a picture.  I chose to get a few stands and do a small cake with cupcakes underneath and then a few other stands of cupcakes.

@mandb122: I LOVE this. Very nice 🙂

This isn’t mine, but it’s been saved in my “inspiration” folder for months.

This is one I got for my friend as a wedding present.  I ordered the cupcake stand from cupcaketree.com and decorated it with the lace and bead ribbons, then brought it to NYC from SFO tucked in a garment bag cuz it wouldn’t fit in my luggage!!  Her wedding was relatively small with 40-50 guests so I shouldve gotten a smaller stand so the cupcakes weren’t so spread out. And I hope to be doing to the same for my wedding in 11 months!

We rented the stand and the tree stump from the baker.

Sorry it’s huge, this is just a mock up of what I’m doing. Instead of one big tower, each table has a little stand of cupcakes as a centerpiece. It was super easy, clear glass plates and little cups  sell for like 50 cents at thift stores. Stuck together with glue dots.

This was from our wedding. We made the cupcake stand ourselves out of metal and plastic trays and small vases glued together.
