Initially I thought I’d be a color shoe bride but the dress I think I’m going to go with wouldn’t go with colored shoes so now I need to look for some ivory ones.
I’m getting married in October and love peep toes.
Please help me out hive!

These are mine:
They are Naturalizer Cospy.
They have a low heel and were really comfortable to wear all day. And the wedge heel really helped when walking in the grass for photos and the cocktail hour.

I haven’t gotten my shoes yet but I know that I want a high heel that is comfortable! I know I am asking a lot but I heard that Cole Haan makes a NIKE AIR shoe just for brides. I looked them up online http://www.colehaan.com/colehaan/promo/bridalcollection.jsp’ defer=’defer and all the shoes are shown in white but it says they are fully dyeable. They are pretty pricey but I think I am going to have to find room in the budget for them because I need some height (I am very short, only 5’3….ok maybe 5’2) but I also insist on being comfortable on my wedding day.
They only bad thing about these shoes is that they aren’t available on Zappos.com (my favorite shoe site)! Which is a shame because I LOVE that website. You literally order your shoes and I swear they come within seconds its crazy. Plus you get free shipping both ways so it’s easy to return if you are indecisive shopping person like me! Oh well maybe Zappos will have them by the time I get married.
Has anyone else heard anything about these Cole Haan shoes? I would love to know your thoughts?

I LOVE Nina shoes for formal events. I bought the Paladin shoes in powder sand for the last wedding I was in. SUPER cute! I am contemplating saving myself some money and just wearing them with my ivory gown. Although after looking at the website again it is hard not to splurge.

OK, maybe not the best picture but there’s a good story. These were my lovelies picked up for a steal at DSW. The color was perfect and the heel was short enough so I didn’t tower over my height-challenged groom. Unfortunately, the heels were rectangular rather than square so the stupid heel stopper things I bought to keep from sinking into the grass couldn’t be used. After lurching up the aisle I was determined to at least have a graceful recessional. So the only thing to do was ditch them at the front of the grass aisle which I did. My SIL snapped this picture before my MOH scooped them up. I did love them- pleated strap with a little bow- so pretty!
