If I wear the heels I have seen you girls posting (which I love) I will feel too tall (taller than my Man) at the wedding.
If you are wearing flats or kitten heels I would love to see a pic of your shoe to inspire me!

I think they are about 1.5 inches. I am also on the taller side so I know how you feel about the high heels!
Mine are Kate Spade Newlyweds. They are ivory with a 2 inch heel. They have them on Bluefly for $105, marked down from $255.
I may or may not be wearing these:
I love them and they were only $15. I bought them in yellow and black too. I originally bought them all just for the hell of it but then I brought them with me to try on dresses and thought they looked really pretty.
I'm wearing a pair of All Black flats. Here they are in ivory, but mine are green:
@danadelphia - I LOVE those! Where did you find them? FI forbid me to wear heels at the wedding (he's only half and inch taller than me) but those have the rest of my life written all over them...
I am wearing a pair of Angela Nurans in a 2.5" heel and get them hand dyed hot pink!

@cvbee - Thanks! I'm really hoping they work with my dress. I may need flats (because I didn't order extra length!). Keep your fingers crossed for me haha.
And I think those flower-y flats you posted are amazing!! Super cute.
I'm going for comfy with these in blue. :-) I will also wear these after the wedding.

my heels are really tall but here are some "just in case" ballet flats for the reception...

I got a cute pair of small heels! I love them! I have the same problem with being too tall, and do not want to look taller than FI on our wedding day :) So I only have an inch to spare on shoes!

Believe it or not these are Isotoner slippers! :) Soooooo comfy!!! And 25 bucks!!!!
I love these so far! I am also having trouble finind shoes that aren't 3 inches tall! Those would be hard to manage in grass. lol.

@teacherbride awwe you're welcome :) I have super high heel shoes and then flats as well....one for the ceremony and the other for the reception (if needed...more then likely, they will be)

@sulli301 I got mine at a little shoe shop west of Boston! But they're online as well!
Question for you - one of the reasons I didn't buy heals for the ceremony was because I figured it would mess up the alterations on my dress - are you worried about switching to flats and then your dress being too long? Or is it doable? :)

The flowery flats from above are Chinese laundry.
I went to the store and got some shoes...I will try to find a pic so I can post them. They were nothing I would have thought of myself, but the lady at the store pointed me in their direction and I'll never look back now.
I was torn between the flat version and the 1.5 inch heels (which I got); I decded on the heels since they do wonders for my legs/ankles--though at 1.5inches they still seem too high to be *low* (to me).

I'm probably doing Nina Culver in Ivory. I love Kate Spade Mattie, but too expensive!
They're the perfect shade of off-white to match my dress and less than an inch heel!
