For some reason I’m not able to post photos today, but I posted this thread (that has the photos) over the weekend. http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/help-frenchunder-bustle-on-a-line-dress-pics Well now the dress is back in the hands of the seamstress, and she doesn’t seem to think that she can give me a french bustle without giving me horrible side “wings.” Even though I showed her a photo of me at the dress shop with no wings . . . So, please show me your beautiful bustles so I can show her that it can be done. And if you care to tell me the details of the the bustle (how many points, how high up the ribbons are, etc.), that would be great too! I’m going to the shop to figure it all out tomorrow, so I hope to come with ammunition!

I don’t have access to my pictures right now, but french was really the only way I could bustle my dress with a big bubble hem on the train. There was one button way up on my butt, then one smaller one on each side.

I think mine was called an underbustle.. but it didnt look like yours so I’m not sure if something like this would be what you’re looking for. It literally went under the dress so it didnt even look bustled, it just look like a regular dress. It was 13 pts. sorry I dont have better pictures. This is with it bustled, front and side view. I dont have a back view pic on thsi comptuer, but it looks just like the front.
