i want to surprise him with a cake (not sure if it will be at the reception or at the rehearsal dinner) that is a big tooth with a cubs or bulls hat on :)
i love fun cakes!
I don't have a picture since it is not built yet, but our groom's cake is going to be a giant cheesecake with the Pontiac Trans Am phoenix sprayed onto the surface in our wedding colors.
Ours will be 49er football cake, similar to the one in the upper right on this page: http://www.wedding-cakes-and-toppers.com/grooms-cake.html The layers will be red and gold and will be surrounded by stawberries, some of them dipped in chocolate with gold leaf.
We had a "Jabba the Hutt" cake because my groom is a huge Star Wars fan. And my boss (who is also a Star Wars fan) was kind enough to loan us his fancy light sabers to "cut the cake with"!
I dont have a pic yet but planning on doing a UFC cake since he love that Here is a pic of what im thinking of doing!

@JulieLynn33- That is a good idea. My FI loves UFC so he would probably like somehting like that. Although he is diabetic so he couldnt really eat it. :(
we're not having a grooms cake but I've arranged for everyone at the rehearsal dinner to have Ohio Buckeyes as a dessert. It's going to be a great suprise!

@purrier - umm, I love that you not only had the Jabba the Hutt cake, but also the requisite light saber accessories. That is awesome.
