Jeo4500:  +1 I couldn’t agree more.

I know when I go through Pintrest I search for my face shape and then short, medium, or long hairstyles. Some you just know are high maintanence off the bat, others can be decieving. I usually print out 3 or 4 photos of what I want and my stylist talks to me about them. She is honest with what I could work do and if the haircut/style that I’m asking for is something she can see me keeping up.

My hair is pretty boring, I have stick straight dark asian hair so I can’t stlye it too much.

I have a pixie-length haircut. I have super-curly hair, and I straighten it each day, so I would say it is medium maintenance. When I had longer hair it would take forever to straighten, so that was definitely high maintenance

It all depends on your hair type, face shape and your personality. A hair style that might suit one face shape might not suit yours. Some might find curly hair high maintanace because it needs to be straightened or blow dried but then others (like lazy old me) just towel dry and go. Or you might have nice shiny straight hair which won’t hold a curl to save it’s own life.

I’d say, find a bunch of hairstyles you like then take them to a hairdresser. A good stylist should be able to advise you on which style would suit you the most and should be able to tweak a style to suit you. You can also ask them for styling tips if you are worried about maintaining it. 😀
