OK - he got mine custom and so I got his to "match" mine so we both felt special and like we belonged together. Are there any other matching rings?
Ours aren't the same, but they coordinate nicely, as they both have milgrain edges. Besides the milgrain, his is plain and shiny and mine is patterned.

This is the best picture I've got at the moment, but they're both plain medium weight palladium rings from moissanite co, mines 2mm and his is 5mm... Hope this helps somewhat... :)
@ youngliz very cool. I have friends that got something similar in titanium. Was the woman's standard or did you have to get it custom?
@efitzger: It is 18k WG from Cartier's Love collection. I have 3.6mm and he has 6mm. They have different metal with and without stones.
@2dBride: I always love seeing pictures of your rings, especially the one with the white gloves. It's just so beautiful, and I love that you guys didn't feel the need for engagement rings, that the bands were the more important.
I suspect there's not a whole lot of matching rings these days. My FI and i were having such a tough time finding matching rings we both liked and that would go with my ering that we just gave up on the whole idea of matching.
I think for most people unless they find it as a bridal set--e-ring matches womans wedding band which matches his band-its tough.
Plus there are so many more options and styles for men now moreso than in years past and those styles don't necessarily have a "hers" matching band.
We haven't brought our rings yet but I've selected not exactly as mine will be a gold band with a row of diamonds and his is likely to be a white gold band with detailing but no stones

We both really loved the pattern on our rings and they have sapphires which are my fav. :) Unfortunately his ring is being fixed, it cracked after 4 months.....
My husband wanted "bling" to his wedding band, too! We both have channel set wedding bands.
we aren't engaged or married but of course we've discussed his ring also. my SO is a law enforcement officer, so the simplest solution is tungsten. it's durable and i love how they make them in the gunmetal grey and black colors. i think one day i'll purchase a band with some diamonds in it for him to wear if we go anywhere nice or just for him to have. but the everyday wear will have to be something sleek and durable :)

We have matching rings as well, except mine has one small burnished set diamond on it. Mine is 2.5mm, his is 4mm, just simple plain platinum rings. I absolutely love it! 
My SO works with furniture all day, every day, so that's TON of wear and tear on his hands, so he's opting for Tungsten Carbide. And because I love him, I am totally willing to get the same band since he really wants our wedding bands to match.
(I've even gone so far as saying we could have the lord of the rings band, just in the color of my engagement ring! Him, being a total geek, freaked out before saying that it was okay to just have something more traditional.) ;)
@StefLovesJamie: OMG my SO wants a lord of the rings band. ahahaha he doesn't care if ours match, but i might get a gold band with some details like this one so we kind of match:
my boyfriend and I actually pickout out matching promise rings (that he has mentioned as using as wedding bands one day) we ordered them from amazon. They have little EKGs with hearts on them (he is an EMT) and i just think they are adorable. Definitely wouldn't be my choice for wedding bands but he absolutely loves them!
This is the stock photo from amazon where we ordered them. They are Tungsten and quite heavy but we have received so many compliments on them. I love matching!
