I haven’t posted for a while but here’s mine. It’s dead on .70ct centre stone. having a simple band was really important to me and I wanted it to sit underneath the halo so we had a custom e-ring that was set high enough to let the band slide neatly underneath. The band has simple ‘grooves’ that match the shank of the e-ring.  I do like the look of diamond bands but it just felt too much for my set. I think this looks graceful and elegant.

I’ve just realised the thread about diamond size in the UK is also yours. If you want I can DM you the name/address of the diamond merchant who custom-made my ring. I’m sure he’d give you a reasonable quote and he’s great to work with. In fact he just replaced some of the diamonds in my halo after I gave it a bashing for free! He’s in Manchester. Don’t know if that’s accessible to you?

This is my .64 center stone and a micro pace wedding band. I’m a size 6.25.  My wedding band (in this picture, I’m not wearing my real one because it’s so wide :/ ) is CZ! But my engagement ring is diamonds. Hope this helps! Chicpeas:

Here is my .68ct round center stone in a cushion cut halo setting. My band was made to match by the same designer, so it fits underneath the setting perfectly. Look for a halo setting that has a matching band, and you won’t have to worry about it fitting together! (Sorry if the pictures are huge, I’m doing this from my phone and I’ve got no option to make them smaller.)

I have two thin bands. It was an enhancer that I had separated (but I may see if I can make it an enhancer again because they spin). I somehow managed to find rings online that match the ring just right. I have a third band that also matches very well, too…

Chicpeas:  thank you! I’m not sure the actual size but it’s about 1mm width (I think my jeweler said it was .06mm halo) I hope that helps! There is a seller on etsy ( LOGR ) they have a semi mount that is the same size halo as mine is. I can get the link for it if you like? I’m having a stand in made by them with a moissanite center stone and a slightly thinner band.

heres a picture of the ring they made me, I don’t have it yet 🙁
