I know there are tons of mason jar centerpiece inspiration pics out there…just wanted to see what everyone else did. I’m using the big ones and adding fresh flowers. I need something to cover up the sides and decorate them a bit. I’m not a big burlap fan so will probably go with something different. Just interested to see what others have done

Wow, no posts yet?
Here’s some of the inspiration pictures I started out with. Here’s what we’re doing for the ceremony and then we’re moving them to the reception
I actually talked to the lady who took this photo, apparently she just added a drop of blue food coloring to the water to get this effect
Thinking about mixing our own cocktails and leaving them out for the guests, but we’re not entirely sure how great of a idea this is yet
And of course, Mr and Mrs glasses, made by glueing a candlestick to a jar

those pics are so cute! I wrapped different sizes of jars in peach lace and wrapped twine around it. planning on using some sand and dropping a votive in them for a subtle warm glow 🙂 will post pics later!

I’m doing ivory pearls in water with a floating candle, and then this super pretty ivory lace wrapped around and the lace has rhinestones. I posted a pic once but it was just 1 lonely mason jar and ppl said it was awkward, even tho i just wanted opinions and that ONE haha so i scrapped it lol

@MiraJo: those are great ideas!!! Its funny because the ones you posted dont look wierd when you see all the stems in the jar, but when I did a trial it just looked messy 🙂 I love the idea of adding drops of blue though! My only thought is, if we’re doing carnations, will they change colour? Im thinking back to a science activity in grade school lol…they changed the carnation colour by leaving it in food colouring 🙂
As far as the drinks, Id be careful about the logistics of that. I love the idea but what if they dont all get drunk? I think it might be wasteful 🙁 We’re doing Mason jar glasses but leaving them empty and letting people fill them at the bar.
Love the MR and Mrs 😀 Never thought of making my own though…that is super creative!!! My MOH bought me a set to use for my bday ….Ive already “tested” them out a few times..works great lol!
@rusticbee2014: That sounds really pretty!! Can I ask where you got the peach lace? Any pics?
@mmm_jacklyn: oh no! That sonnds so lovely though!! Ya people can be too honest sometimes on the boards :S Im sure its a great idea though!
@jellybean80: That is so pretty!! Love the colours!! It screams summer/fresh! 🙂 The mat underneath is a really nice touch…it makes it pop that much more
@FutureMrsWeston: Thanks for sharing! I really like the string around the outside too! Again the stems look so much cleaner than when I did it lol 🙂
