Just as a heads up, I've been trying to find the Krylon Looking Glass spray paint and they are literally no retailers that sell it in the province I live in. I called Krylon and they're sending me out a sample though in 5-7 business days and said I could order through Sherwin-Williams. Hooray! I hope you have better luck than I do, but I like the idea of free stuff too ;)
I have some center piece glass that I was trying to figure out how to make silver. I think that I will try this. Thanks!!!

I used mercury glass votive candleholders. Also used chargers that looked like mercury glass.

Can you show me photos of how you did/plan to use your mercury glass? I am trying to piece our decor together in my mind and mercury glass is an element I'd love to use. Also, where did you buy your mercury glass? Thanks in advance!
