I'm becoming more and more fond of wedding sets that aren't at all sets, that are mismatched but compliment each other quite nicel (i.e. Miss Stripes). So, I wanna see what you ladies have out there!!!!!
I have solitare e-ring that is in white gold. My wedding band is made from rose gold, with milgrain edging and diamonds. I'm in love!

@trailmix - i love the pops of gold! I'm not normally a yellow gold fan, but it's funky and totally works for me.
Those are ALL beautiful!!!! I love the way it looks and I can't wait to find the perfect one to (not) go with my ring!
@MissChirpie - I lov ethe idea of the white and rose gold rings next to each other!
I love the mismatched sets, especially the mixed metals! Mine is going to be more on the matchy-matchy side, but I'll have to wait until it's done (soon)...I'm dying!

Wedding bands are round gold and the engagement ring is princess/baguette/cushion.
So pretty! Thanks for sharing. I'm leaning toward a two rose gold bands to go with my platinum e-ring.
My rings are both tacori but my engagement ring is an engraved solitare setting and my wedding band is small pave diamonds. I really hated the look of the matching engraved band (see bottom picture). It hid the cool profile details and did nothing for the beautiful diamond. There maybe a little gap but I kinda like it.

I am doing stacked bands for my whole set. My e ring is a 2.5 carat eternity ring. My wedding band is a thin 1 carat eternity ring. I am also getting a rose gold band and a channel set eternity ring and will mix and match everything.

Cakegal OMG I LOVE your rings!! That looks SO good. I also love that Tiffany band! Wow I can't wait to see it all together -- I think a stacked set like that is so classy yet unique and original! Did you ask for an eternity e-ring or was your FI just cool enough to think of that all on his own??
Thanks! Luckily my fiance was cool enough to know I would want to pick it out myself. I think he was thinking of a solitaire, but he loves what I chose-he likes to pretend he picked it out.
I will wear the rose gold band to work-I am a chef and need something plain there.
I was going to get an asscher eternity ring, but they really rubbed me and were uncomfortable. I really had to look to find a "low profile" eternity ring and I love mine because it is so unique for an eternity ring. This is the picture from the website.

i love those of you that have mixed metal colors. I chose my wedding band because I wanted it to be stackable so that I can get a gold band and/or rose someday (anniversaries, births...). Also wanted it to be a great stand alone.
Here are my rings (just got the band on Sunday!!):
E-ring is 3 emerald cut stones with 3 princess cut channel set on either side. Band it alternating rounds and baguettes (not all the way around though).
@ cake, Ooh it's cool to see the detail in that pic! Yours is so sparkly it was hard to tell in the first one! That is so awesome that he let you pick it. You have great taste!! I'm inspired to get some stackers now. :)

None of our rings will match but they'll coordinate-we ~loved~ the design on my engagement ring and when we found his wedding band we knew it was meant to be!

@CCSR: Love yours :) I like the simple band with the diamond band.
I just got mine yesterday. I have a diamond band with my engagement ring so I went with plain for the wedding band. People look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I turned down a diamond band. (We actually bought it and returned it.)

@neontl: Oh yay!!! E-ring twins!! :) Im in love with my set and I cant wait to wear them both.... but it's not a mismatched set, so I wont post.
@JennyChicago: I just bought the same exact wedding band, and I'm trying to convince my fiance that I NEEEEED two! I guess great minds think alike, eh?
i love all the inspiration. i would love to do something mixed metal but probably am not brave enough. i have a princess cut solitare and right now i am leaning towards something like @JennyChicago has for wedding bands. Ultimately i want something that would be pretty to wear alone because a lot of people find it distasteful to wear anything remotely flashy in my field of work. keep the great ideas coming!
I am seriously loving these mismatched bands! I had been leaning towards getting a non matchy band, but looking at this thread sealed it. I'm currently obsessed with bands and have been trying on my married friends bands to see what i like :)
I think we are getting our bands in September, I'll post as soon as we do!

The engagement ring and band came from two different jewelers but I think they look amazing. I love that the band is thin so I can wear it during clinicals and still have some bling :)
