@SeaSalt:  I love all of this!!! I barely did any DIY but I had nautical flags at my reception as well. I thought about painting canvases but ran out of time. Very very cute.

@SeaSalt:  I know I’m totally thinking about it but I have to “go easy on the nautical” because my DH is in the navy and he does not want overkill in our house LOL. My big project is 1. learning how to sew 2. making nautical flag pillowcases!!

Seriously how did you get your FI to help you craft!? Cannot. Imagine. Will be sending you good vibes for your big day in 3 days!

@SeaSalt:  was not an original idea– think i saw on martha stewart wedding? the fabric life ring was cheap– maybe $20? i like it even though there’s no space for notes.

@SeaSalt:  love your paintings! I had a lot of nautical flags too, my Save the Dates, thank you and just married banners, our table numbers and programs, and nautical themed menu/invitations etc. Oh and a life ring that we now keep on our boat. Oh and also we put dockline around the base of our cake.

my purse also had a rhinestone starfish:

we used sealing wax with the compass rose:

salt water taffy in sandpails for favors:

seafood in a boat during cocktail hour:

Oooh, my kind of people!!  FI and I are avid divers, so wanted a wedding reflecting ocean, water, etc.  We wound up with a yacht wedding venue.

For now, I can only offer pics of stationery, but I do have tons of odds and ends of the decor.

@KBScarlett:  Can you please tell me where you purchased your invites?  Those are very close to what I am looking for!

@MsAmandaAnn:  Honestly?  Those are entirely, completely home-made.  I took a sample from something on Etsy and went with it.  Given the simplicity and plain white card stock, I figured it was easily identifiable as home-made…..

If you are truly interested, I’ll be happy to share files, etc with you…. Just understand it’s nowhere near professional.  (EG, Iprinted each piece on card stock and cut by hand….each piece’s item is a little off size-wise, but, I figured no one was getting together andd comparing exact dimensions, so….who cared?)

@KBScarlett:  I think they look GOOD!  I have been looking for something either striped or chevron with a strfish or seahorse on it and I just haven’t seen anything I’ve liked!  Everything is either too cheesy or missing something.  I love these!

If you wouldn’t mind sharing, I would love to see if I could tweek these to match our colors!  Do you also have the etsy sample?  Or a link?  Thank you thank you!!
