I’m feeling bored at work so I’m checking out decor companies here and I wanted to get ideas from you bees about what we could do. Our ceremony room is indoors with all windows at the front and along one side. The windows face out north into the golf course (which will be winter) and mid-afternoon ceremony timing. I want to keep it pretty simple but still nice, and probably no flowers – although I’m not sure. I just haven’t seen an arrangement I would like.
I guess we will need some kind of backdrop so all the pictures of us at the front aren’t ruined by camera flashing against the windows.
So… Show me your decor!

I would consult with your photographer re whether the windows are an issue or not. In the winter the sun is low in the sky-especially for a late afternoon ceremony.
Some windows are a perfect frame for the ceremony all by themselves.
Otherwise, it might be nice to frame the pics with a tall arrangement on either side, or something raised up on a pillar or tree stump etc.
this weddding used gigantic pomanders (which could be made ahead from silk or paper flowers, or doilies or coffee filters) on a black column (forget the arch and table)
Birch logs standing upright – replace the expensive flower arrangement with a potted plant
