Do you mean natural waist/empire? There are plenty of brides, they just might not understand what you mean. My dress is dropped waist (fitted to the hips), so I can’t really chime in, but I’m sure you look stunning in your dress.

Mine is called “empire,” but I think it’s a natural waist. I only have pics in the wrong size from the day I ordered it, and I’m on my iPad, so I can’t post photos . . . But you aren’t the only one! 🙂

I don’t like the drop waist on my body type, it makes me look even shorter. Here is my gown with the natural waist.  I love how it cinches me in at the waist and then poofs out to hide my belly.  I won’t have to worry about sucking it in all night, ha ha.

I opted for a natural waist!

Here’s a drop waist dress I tried, but didn’t pick since it wasn’t flattering.

@mscuppycake:  does “non drop waist” mean the dress flares out below the natural waist, or what? I don’t really get it. is trumpet/mermaid considered drop waist?

@mscuppycake:  hihi totally understand you, I looked like a really long torso attached to a skirt in a drop-waist dress… I didn’t buy this one, but it was the favourite of all my friends..

@MrsHotPink:  Thanks 🙂 I can’t wait to start the fittings.  I bought it last spring and it has been soooo long since I’ve seen it.
