You’ll need to use your imagination a little, because I haven’t done a full mock-up yet !

Here was my original inspiration :

I found branches like those in my local Homesense, but they were expensive (14,99$ a branch and I would need at least 3 for each table, it was out of budget). Other option : take a walk into the woods, get branches, spray paint them or glue cristals on them. Thought about that, but was hoping I would not have to because I don’t really have a place to craft in my appartment, espacially with such high branches. Finally found silver glitter branches for 7,99$ each at Homesense and I bought 1 for each centerpieces and everything else is from the dollar store.

This is our venue :

The chairs have been changed since : they’re the same as in the inspiration pic, but silver instead of gold ! The venue will provide white tableclothes over which there will be a black ”square” (they are brown in this picture). And our centerpieces will look like that :

Still trying to find how to incorporate a little bit of color (purple) to my centerpieces because I do not want them to be black/white/silver only.

@chickspartan:  Thanks. I think it looks a bit sad all alone in the picture, but once the table are prepared with the multiple glasses, the table numbers (included with the venue), printed menus (also included), it will look fuller and more dramatic. I’m also limited in my appartment because the branches touch the ceiling ! While the ceiling is way higher in the venue, so hopefully it will look like a little forest, hehe. Wink

We were lucky with the chairs. I liked them already the way they were (kinda look like branches too), but the restaurant decided to upgrate them and got these chairs, exactly like my reference picture, yay !

My centerpieces have flowers in them, but they are freeze dried deep purple lilacs, so I feel like mine still counts. All our bouquets were vintage fabric flowers w/ crystal and pearl centers 🙂

@chickspartan:  I think you would get more responses if you posted something about yourself, your wedding, and what you are looking for.

It can be frustrating to take time to look things up and then have the OP answer back-“I hate blue”, “my FI doesn’t like books”, “it will be cold here” etc. I’m not saying you would do that, but it’s not uncommon.

Tell us a bit about you, your interests and your wedding so our responses can be relevant.

@chickspartan:  My ideas are all still in my head but I am thinking pinecones, wheat, acorns. Like these:

@chickspartan:  I’m from the west (wheat) and FH is from the east, so we doing rolled fake maple leafs for the bouquets and bouts. I was playing around with the idea of paper/fabric flowers but fell in love with the east meets west idea. Bouquets and bouts will cost about $40 and centerpeices about $50. Reception venue is super rustic, all wood with chandeliers.

@chickspartan:  This is just a very rough mock up of my centerpieces (in bad lighting on our kitchen table). There will be a couple flowers in the tall vase, candles in the smaller pieces, and we’ll add a few more details but I haven’t decided what yet

Our colors are plum, gold and ivory
