I’m thinking about ordering flowers wholesale and making my BM bouquets myself/with them (because there are 8 of them and funds are limited). I’ve watched a couple videos online on how to do it, and have been looking it up on some websites… Of course I would try it out a bunch of times in the year leading up to the wedding, to make sure it would turn out well, I just wanted to know if any other bees arranged their own bouquets or their BMs bouquets and see the results 🙂

I am going to do this. Haven’t done it yet tho- wedding is in October. What flowers/colors are u using? I’ve become the queen of savings here lately. I fell in love with craspedia and found them dried for much cheaper. If yellow is in your color scheme, dried ones are cheaper than fake flowers! And dried lotus pods make great filler if you are going with natural tones.

I arranged my own bouquet with silk flowers from afloral.com, joann fabrics, and the dollar tree! This is the final result 🙂

@kelikala: Wow, that looks awesome!! If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you end up spending? Also, did you do boutonnieres, too?

@AJester2: Sorry I didn’t see anyone replied! I am thinking about using yellow flowers (BMs dresses will be gray I think, not 100% but pretty sure) thanks for the tip!

We’re doing a Princess and the Frog theme, so I tried to give the bouquets that swamp/forest feel to them.
Here is one of the bridesmaid’s bouquets.
And here is my bouquet
Center piece also arranged by me. Our colors are purple, green, and yellow/gold (to fit with the mardi gras setting of the movie).
