I just received a moissy bezel which kinda looks like a halo because of the milgrain frame. I paired it with both! I love the shine of metal next to sparkly stones:

First pic: Plain 14k rose gold band

Second pic: .25 (I think) ct diamond band in 14k white gold.

I have a filigree band with alternating blue and white diamonds somewhere, and by somwhere I mean the picture – I’ll upload if I can find it. Hope that helps!

  • Wedding: An amazing castle. August 2015

mildlybookish:  the diamond wedding band you like is gorgeous. I am like you, leaning towards a plain wedding band but as I love the diamond ones that are like the one you like I am hoping for an eternity ring for our first wedding anniversary

I have a blingy (but petite) halo ering that has a diamond band. For that reason I plan to go with a plain wedding band to offset the sparkle of the ering 🙂

I was in love with the idea of a plain shank halo ring w/ a diamond wedding band though when I was ering shopping. You should do that, for sure 🙂

mildlybookish:  tough choice because I can picture both styles working seamlessly with your beautiful ring! I love the idea of a plain one on your wedding day- timeless.

MrsPPP:  switching up your wedding band like that changes the entire look of the set. It took me a minute to realize it was the same ering. Wow! Beautiful Set!

Strawberryshmoo:  Thanks! My fatty fat hands make it impossible to stack – it’s painfully tight.

I just ordered my final (last) band from TwoBirch…it’s really hard for me to settle on anything, because to me it’s just sparkly jewelry. To my husband, it’s blah blah blah. He didn’t pick it out, or design it, and we paid for it together.

I have a LOT more sentimental attachment to the star sapphire that he brought home from Afghanistan (I’m a veteran, he’s active duty), and that our local jeweler set (on the spot, for free, with free chain and setting – my current jobs has some perks!) for my birthday last year. I would die if that got lost or destroyed, because of the moment.

My point is, it’s stressful, it’s fun, but in the end, it’s just a ring. It’s not your marriage.

mildlybookish:  Try a pawn shop. That diamond band, I saw at a pawn shop. Brand new, no scratches, quarter carat band, 14 karat white gold, talking down to 48 dollar s.
