Here’s ours…nothing too unusual but in person they were very GRAND. I didn’t know they were going to be so large but they ended up making a nice statement. There was a black ribbon knotted at the top. Elegant and simple to go with our Catholic evening ceremony.

I had a calligrapher write our ceremony on a large framed mirror from the early 1900s she refinished. It looks a little weird because I smudged out our names on the top.

it was visually striking and saved paper!

We had a few unusual things happening in our ceremony, and we wanted to explain them, so we made a very wordy program. At least it gave people something to read while they were waiting for the ceremony to start 🙂

They ended up like booklets with the cover (see below), then the order of events on the first page, scripture passage + explanations on inner page 1, wedding party on inner page 2, and then a few notes, reception details, our new address, etc on the back inner page.

sunflower22:  Don’t mind if I do! I just did a quick mockup this weekend and I am in love!! Sorry I didn’t take any pics of the inside. It is layered, and I will be making them all with my Silhouette cameo!!

sunflower22:  I designed 16-page “Field Guides” to our wedding. We don’t have pictures of every page, although I suppose I could go through and take pics if you wanted to see them. Easier would be to give you what was on each page if you’d like. Anyway, here they are in the baskets and a couple of the pages:

Our programs were fans which we figured may be handy in July heat. I printed them at home so very low cost. I adapted the idea from http://offbeatbride.com/2011/12/funny-wedding-program and made it suit our day. The white guy dance syndrome was way too good not to repeat! Sorry about the formatting, I lost a bit from computer to computer.
