Hi bee’s!! I’m totally new here, and already completely addicted.
I’m having a purple and green wedding, and I can’t decide if I want GREEN or PURPLE bridesmaid’s dresses. Maybe green AND purple? I can’t decide!
So help a new bee out!

This wasn’t mine but it’s one of my all time favorite bridesmaids dresses, made by Jenny Yoo.
It’s harder to find nice shades of green for BM’s though it’s one of my favorite colors but it is possible

Oh thank you! These are all great. I really love the purple one up top, and the collection of green!

I am using the Alfred Sung collection from Dessy in Italian Plum. They have a few other purple colors and 2 fabrics, but I liked this one the best. My gals have cocktail dresses in the peau de soie fabric. They each got to pick their own style.
Let’s see if this works:

These are from Alfred Angelo in Grape – the color is prettier in person, in my opinion. It’s more of a dark red-purple.

here are my lavender BMs, no green though!

I am using the same colours, and I had a terrible time finding decent greens for my BMs, so I decided to use plum and use the greens in their bouquets. Our Groomsmen will have green ties and purple flowers in their bouts.
Alfred Angela has some great dresses that you can add a coloured sash on, and the greens as accents are really pretty, I saw a few while shopping. Go onto the website, and you can actually change the colours online to see how they work together. Word of advice though, the colours are WAY different online than in person, so make sure you look at the actual swatches before deciding. Also keep in mind the type of fabric you choose will affect the colour, chiffons are quite different than the same colour in satin, so make sure you see the colour in the fabric you want or you may be disappointed.
I really liked the Celadon or Clover for the accent greens with the eggplant as the base colour.
