I am Chinese so I will wear a traditional chinese wedding gown in red for reception. For the ceremony, I will have a ball gown or a lace fit and flare, havn’t decided yet. But this is my chinese red Qipao (traditioal dress), customer made, hand embroidered of 10 flowers and butterfly, meaning good luck and happyness forever。

@vmec:  Love the back of your qipao, and the fact that it isn’t super traditional! Gorgeous!

I had a short petal skirt dress for the reception! I wore it with a large mint statement necklace and a nude belt. I changed a few hours before our getaway!

This will be mine (a custom version done by jbs with full length lining though). 6 more weeks until she comes home! My ceremony gown is a big hoop skirted ball gown with an internal corset and is fitted for heels… I want to be comfy, flowy and wearing flats so i can get my groove thang on.
