Hey bees!

My friend and I were discussing the ribbon headband look today. We both think it's beautiful, but we'd like to see some photos of the look in action!

Im planning on doing a ribbon headband (still looking for one) But I know that you need to make sure they are pinned into your hair because all the ones ive worn before move really easy!

I think ribbon headbands are super cute and romantic and I've always liked this one from Serephine on etsy...

but at the same time I could see it possibly slipping and not staying in place with just a ribbon and I think I would be more comfortable with something on a headband like this...

Here's mine from my hair trial! I wil repost after my big day and let you know of any techinical difficulties! One thing I know from my trial was that I got a GIANT nappy knot at the bast of my neck where the ribbon was tied under my head... that was not fun!

@okpharmbride: I am from Moore:) I miss OKC sooo much. I love it. Moved from Yuma,Az to Moore my sr.year in 2000 then joined the Navy Jul01. So I have been alot of places. Navy brat too but OK is def.my favorite place/home!

Did you have issues with keeping the headband in place? I must have an odd shaped head. I cant keep the elastic "sport" bands on my head. they all slip back. I really want to wear a ribbon with my long blonde hair.

Here's mine-a little out of focus but I made it myself from plaid taffeta ribbon and rhinestone pin. My hairdresser pinned it in place and then pinned my hair over it so it the pins wouldn't show. Didn't budge all night and I had about a million bobby pins to undo my hair but I loved it:)

I bought silver leather cord from Etsy that we twisted into double headband and added a vintage silver brooch. Cheap, easy and once pinned in didn't move at all.
