I love settings where the jewel takes center stage and the prongs/ metalwork appear hidden when viewed from the top. But I also love the look of delicate double-claw prongs. Does anyone have rings like that?

BUMP! I’m interested in this! I’ve never heard of invisible prongs!

For amazing double claw prongs, google “Leon Mege”. We almost got my setting through him but would up with a pricier diamond and lower budget (cast, not shaped from wire) setting with a shorter wait time. But I would LOVE one of Leon’s double prongs. And I didn’t even really want an engagement ring!

I’m interested in seeing rings with invisible prongs….. Not sure how the ring stays in place but love the idea of not seeing metal. Tagging to see a few!

@wrkbrk: I have only seen “invisible” prongs from Jean Dousset (Cartier’s great great grandson), who made engagement rings for Eva Longoria and Amy Adams. See below, isn’t it absolutely beautiful and minimalist?

@jdhall89: Beautiful ring, very reminiscent of the Harry Winston classic setting! HW is particularly proud of its double claws and I think it is a very underrated look.

@ElbieKay: Seconding this! His prongs are very distinct, and I’ve always loved them. Here’s mine:
You can see the prongs better in the photo he took of the ring:
