While I love the look of pretty much all metals for enagement and wedding rings, I am quite drawn to yellow and rose gold for myself as I just prefer how it looks against my skin tone, and I get more compliments when I wear it!
My Grandma recently passed to me my Great-grandmother’s wedding ring and I love how it looks against my skin (and luckily it fits perfectly!) But I actually don’t know whether its rose or yellow gold as it looks somewhere in between! So I’d like to get a better idea before going to a jeweler…
I would love to see some real examples of rose or yellow gold rings you have, individual or sets! so I can drool over them as well as get an idea about how different they really are! If you have a set including both that would be super helpful! Could you please specify whether it’s 14k or 18k (or neither) coz I understand this makes a colour difference too. thanks in advance!

Here are some pics of my ring for reference. (Ignore weird reflections making it look deformed, they were taken in bedroom light at night). Can anyone tell if its rose or yellow gold?

@SLfairytale: its a bit hard to tell but it may be 18k yellow gold and the yellow is just very rich in color.

@SLfairytale: I think it might be red gold…which I think is somewhere in between the two? I don’t know. In any case, it’s really beautiful.
