Here’s mine!  Forgive the blurriness.  If it’s hard to tell what’s going on, it’s a plain shank halo.

My stone is from Better Than Diamond; if you’re open to lab created sapphires, I highly recommend them or Chatham.  The setting’s a James Allen setting.  Unfortunately I don’t know of good places for buying natural sapphires, but one thing to be aware of is many sapphires on the market are treated.  A high quality natural sapphire could be more expensive than a diamond.

I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on my ring, and there’s been no confusion about whether or not my ring’s an engagement ring.  I love the pop of color, and that it’s a classic design but still different.

Ahh I love sapphire rings. Eventually I want to “upgrade” my moissy to a natural sapphire.

My ring is all sapphires.  We went to a local jewelry store and picked out a setting and stones, then the store put them together for us.

Here is my ring with my wedding band. (Excuse the grody nails.)

I am absolutely in love with my ring. My husband designed it with the jeweler. I don’t know much information about the sapphire itself.

These aren’t the rings I’m keeping. I got them so I could see what a 7mm stone looks like on my finger, but here they are. They are white sapphires and black sapphire.

Blue sapphires don’t get much darker than mine so I hope this helps you!  Good luck finding the ring of your dreams. 🙂

I love blue sapphires, great choice!!!  I’ve have/had 2 custom made sapphire rings.  Color is so important.  I see so many posts about people who don’t like sapphires because they look black & cloudy – that’s true if you’re looking at a low quality stone.  Also, depending on the cut, sapphires sparkle like mad!!

1st one – Asscher cut sapphire in platinum…

Current ring – Sapphire & 18K white gold…

This is the only picture I have on this computer of my natural sapphire. This one is a really, really dark blue. It’s natural, and I know some people like the brighter blue, but I just love the dark color. The other stone is a diamond.

Here’s mine, it’s not an ering, just a ring I have.
