I keep seeing calls for E rings, but rarely do I see any sapphires. So come on, Ladies, show off your sapphires!

@Ginger123: I have seen your ring on a thread before. I love the blue and it's really similar to mine. FI says the jeweler is fairly certain it's from Kashmir. Do you know where yours is from? We have similar settings too, though yours must be a little "smarter" because you can fit a wedding ring next to it. Mine sits too close to my finger. Do you happen to have a side view?

Hi all.  My ring is a blue sapphire, although a lot of people have asked me on the boards if its an amethyst.  I guesss it comes through more purple on the computer.  It is an ethically mined Australian blue-violet sapphire (hence the purple I guess) and its set in a Tacori 2620 platinum setting.  It is indeed set higher to allow a band. 

Mine is a 1.29 carat deep blue sapphire bezel set in white gold.

I always knew I wanted a sapphire, and we picked this ring out (and had it custom made) together. :-)

@Ginger123: It's lovely! I actually looked at that setting too! I went with a Ritani design because I liked the floral look, but I went back and forth between yours and mine for a while. Nice choice ;)

mine is at the jewellers right now,  so cant  post a pic of me wearing it,  but here is a stock photo.  The Sapphire is my FIs birthstone, and the 16 Diamonds signify the 16 years we have been together...

Here's mine :) It's a pink sapphire which I absolutely love! FI did an awesome job!

@Nellular: Thanks, all credit goes to DH.  I didnt know what kind of ring I was getting - setting or stone - and we had never even gone ring shopping together.  He did an excellent job and I am thrilled with everything about my ring.  Yours is totally original and beautiful too.  :)

@Ginger123:Wow he chose very well. Actually in the end, I did leave it up to my fiance to make the choice, but your ring and my ring were the two that truly took my breath away when I tried them on. Unfortunately I have the same problem with wedding dresses now. There are 2 that I had my "bridal moment" with, but this time it's up to me to decide. eep!

I don't have a sapphire, but I just wanted to say that all of your rings are sooo beautiful!
