@EffieTrinket: Here's mine. It went to my waist-- I don't have pro pics back yet, so these are the best I have. It was also my something borrowed!

I don't have a picture of me that shows off the veil that well, but here is the "model" photo:

I don't have a pic of mine but I am commenting so I can find this again and post once I have pics (which will be soon. 17 days)
I can't remember which legnth I had (got it for about $30 on etsy) but I didn't want something that would cover up the whole back of the dress! I took my veil off for the reception. (sorry if these pics are huge)

Personally, I love long, long veils. I'll be wearing a cathedral length veil.
Here's mine! :) I absolutely loved my veil with the beautiful beading and embroidery! I'm also trying to sell it if anyone is interested!
I ended up buying 2 and couldn't decide on which one, in the end neither one was worn due to my cat destorying both. My bridal place bought the dress from gave me the one wore at my wedding
I feel like we have crossed paths on the boards....so forgive me if you have seen this. ;)
Here is my 18" bubble veil. I had a tough time finding something as I needed short and the birdecage veils looked ridiculous on me. Alot of people didn't like the idea of my bubble BUT once it was all together they said it was very "me"!
Good luck making your decision.

@Christy42213: They are definitely beautiful, but I think that since my dress has so much going on already, a long veil might just take away from that.
@EffieTrinket: My dress has a lot going on too. I just think that long veils are so bridal!! Besides, you don't wear it for the reception (unless you want to). So the dress has plenty of time to be centerstage! :)
This is the best photo I have on this computer of my veil. It was single tier elbow length, satin-edged with tiny clusters of crystals scattered throughout.

even without a dress choice yet, i knew very early on that i didn't want a long veil. i wanted a short one that wouldn't compete with what i decided was going to be a simple wedding gown anyway. that- plus i couldn't justify the exorbitant cost for a flimsy piece of cloth
(woops, sorry for big pics; don't know how to resize).

I don't have a bunch of pictures cause mine fell out during family shots and I didn't bother sticking it back in- so wish I would have I love the over all look so much better with it in!

This is the one I got - it's two tier elbow length. The beading on it matches my dress - I'll try and take some pics of it on me after I pick it up next week.
I haven't had my wedding yet, but I'm wearing my mother's veil from her wedding to my father 35 years ago (they're still together :) ) I think it's finger tip length.
I don't have any great pics of it, but this one gives you an idea.

I purchased a two tier fingertip veil from Davids. Matches my dress perfectly.
My veil ended right where the ruffles on the back of my dress started.

Chapel and cathedral veils are so pretty....with the right dress. I am pretty sure they won't look good with mine, though. Too much going on.
I don't feel like I get to see enough pouf, shoulder-length, elbow-length, and fingertip veils. Show me yours!
