Our cake was really simple, and I loved it! It was perfect for us. :)
How simple are you looking for? I feel like ours was pretty simple minus the flowers we had put on it.
2 layers w/ buttercream and decorated w/ real flowers. Pretty simple! 
Great thread! I love simple cakes, so I will definitely be turning to this for inspiration when the time comes to decide :)
Just booked our baker today! I was originally going for something more complex but fell in love with the simplicity of this cake and I LOVE the pearlized fondant.
I will have blush pink ribbon with pink/ivory roses on top.

@Dub D: Thanks very much! I am really happy with my decision to change. I had originally gone with something quite ornate with tons of piping and flowers between each layer but I saw that cake and about died. I love the fondant color with the sparkle/pearl it is really quite something in person.
@shambley: that is fantastic, I love that one!! was it yours or just a pic you found?
I made these ones, just for friends - I do it as a hobby but then always wonder why I go through the stress in my little tiny awkward kitchen LOL maybe when we move I'll be less inclined to get angry at myself for telling someone i'd make theirs. These two are the simplest ones.

This is one of the inspiration pics I send to the baker:
The ribbon will be chocolate brown and the pearls will be a softer pink/pearl color instead of the silver.
