Hey ladies! Well as usual, I’m being all wild and fun on a Friday night!…Or not. I’m sitting in my PJ’s browsing the Boards on the Bee. I’m sure there are sadder ways to spend one’s Friday evening (but at the moment I can’t think of any!).
But, anyway…here’s one I’ve never seen: SHOW ME YOUR TRANSPORT! How are you getting/how did you get to your wedding? Bus, luxury car, limo, carriage, elephant?! I want to see them all (I’m not holding my breath for the elephant, but you never know!). So please share, Bees! I look forward to all forms of wedding transport you have to show me 🙂

We used my husband’s vintage Porsche. It’s noisy and really low to the ground, but we had some fun with it 🙂

We will be using a trolley – although he is suppose to be getting an all white one by next year.

@Glasgowbound: Ok, you win because that looks so stunning!
We just took a regular ol’ white limo, lol. Fancy transportation wasn’t really where we wanted to spend money, but my parents insisted we at least get a limo and paid to get us a 14 passenger limo:
Not very good pics of the limo itself, but we look like we are having fun anyway, lol.

We used a towncar from the Church to the reception, then from the reception to the hotel.
Then we took a party bus out dancing that night!

@megz06: thanks! It’s a Glasgow city bus from the 1950’s 🙂
10 of us took it from the hotel to the venue, then the bus went and picked up the guests from the 2 hotels where we had blocked rooms (it took them back after the wedding too). It was expensive, but worth it We kept getting people on the street staring and pointing at the bus 🙂

my grandfather’s boat! we’re getting married at a resort on a lake, and he lives across the bay of the lake from where the resort is. so we’re taking a boat to the wedding. one of his neighbors also has a boat, and we’ll be using his as well for the parents and some bridal party members.
both boats look similar to this: http://images.harrisflotebote.com/images/categories/boat-main/large/boat-main_12544.jpg

Well, I don’t have a photo of my arrival transport (a party bus shuttle that we used to have our guests escorted from the hotel to the venue), but here was our getaway car, DH’s old Daewoo, may it rest in peace. 🙂 (PS We had some good laughs about this car and how Daewoo doesn’t even make cars anymore, and for good reason!)
