    Hello bees!

    I'll start with mine....

My band appears to be typical until.....

..you see that I have my DH's finger print in the inside of the band!

So, as the title says, show me your unique wedding bands please!

This will be mine, I'll be having blue sapphires alternated through the band.

WOW, I love ALL of these but I especially love JessMorgan777's, maybe because it's somewhat similar to mine.

I have a .75ct brilliant white gold solitaire and my "unique wedding band" is this one:

I cannot wait to wear them together and take a picture to post!! ahhh!

@Poptartz:  My E-ring is a custom 18k ring natural Fancy Light Yellow diamond with Brilliant Fancy Pink Diamonds around the halo and white diamonds around the shank. The 18k Rose Gold band has 7 small round diamonds and lots of miligrain details. The white gold band is a full eternity band in 18k with miligrain detail on both edges,

I would say mine is unique in that it does not "go" with my e-ring. I often find myself stacking them anyway, but I wear the rings on separate hands just as often. I like that my band (a diamond-sapphire sandwich) can stand on its own when I travel or work with my hands, plus the sapphire has special meaning to me.

@anemonie:  I don't have a wedding band to add just yet, but I just have to say that I'm in love with your band! I don't usually like thick bands at all, but yours is just gorgeous!

@Spade504:  Thank you! I was a little self conscious about my choice in the beginning because it's not the traditional matchy set with a delicate band, and sometimes I still wonder if I should've gotten a band to match my e-ring. But at the end of the day, I'm grateful I picked the band I did.

This is the band I am set on buying. I think it's unique? It certainly took me a long time to find something that wasn't a channel band or plain band.

TWo bands, one rose gold, one yellow gold, from an estate jewelery sale. Brushed metal 0.30 carats of diamonds on each band.

Here is the one i am thinking about, i have had an obsession with yellow diamonds for a while and thought this was a good way to incorporate them.

@jessiebean:  I LOVE mokume gane rings! If they weren't so far out of our budget when we got married, I would have definitly gotten one!

@FutureMrsMcLaughin:  It was through an etsy shop called fabuluster. The whole process was pretty easy. You submit the order for what type of ring you want and then they send you a kit that was essentially little sheets of wax that you heat up and press your finger into. They pick the best looking one and then make your ring.  I would highly recommend them!

@jessiebean:  My FI almost got a mokume gane band. He's collects pocket knives (he's not a serial killer, I swear) and loves the mokume blades. They're so pretty, and such a neat technique. Please post pics of yours when you get it!

@JessMorgan777:  Thanks I hadn't thought of that... I do like rose gold. I'm thinking of a band like yours but with circles instead of ovals alternating. I like the added interest. Of course.... This will be down the road lol if I try and get this now my FI will look at me like I'm crazy. We just bought a house and have tons of new expenses.

@soontobeMrsBoo:  I will definitely post pics when I get it!!!!! I won't be getting it until after my birthday next month, and I can't wait!!!! My FH has a bunch of nice kitchen knives with damaskus steel that reminds me of my band. I wish he could have a matching band to go with mine, but he won't spend that much on his. I am going to get him one in the future though.

@chemistryBee:  Maybe in the future!???? I didn't get a diamond, so I think that is why FH could 'afford' a mokume gane band. I am so so so so so darn lucky! It was all his idea too! I would never have asked for something so expensive...

jessiebean oooooh lovely! I adore mokume gane! Sadly a gold one would be wayyy out of our price range (grad students, sighhh), so I'm having a silver and copper one made for only $65! It will look like this:

@FutureMRS3lastnames:  Oh I orderd it from Wickersham jewelry. They have many colors and if you dont see the color you want on their website, call them and ask because they did not have my amethyst one pictured.
