ShhhItsaSecret:  Chalfie is awesome!

I have a Mali uromastyx named Peanut. When my iPad stops being screwy I’ll post pics.

I also have a bearded dragon named Holly but I wouldn’t consider her an unusual pet.

ShhhItsaSecret:  Is Chalfie’s fluorescent effect produced by a process similar to that of Glofish?

I’ve only seen an axolotl briefly on TV but I’d love to know more about this fascinating creature.

Wow, that’s a pretty cool pet.  I had flying squirrels, but had to let them go.

I know she looks pretty “normal” but this is our disabled cat, Belle. She lost the use of one of her front paws in some kind of accident while she was living outdoors at a tire farm. The owner noticed her limping and brought her to a rescue farm because he didn’t think she’d make it on her own with her limitations. She is a happy little girl though, and either hops or crawls around our house. SHe even does stairs, and she jumps pretty high! Belle is the small, black cat

I had a squirrel! We rescued him after a bad ice storm and he fell out of a tree. We nursed him back to life and after about 2 years we released him out into the yard. Now he lives in our backyard tree and comes up to the house daily for nuts/fruits/and veggies. When he lived in his cage he loved farret and dog toys. Here he is in his farret ball.

I love this thread! I have nothing unusual (cat, dogs, and horse) but I love seeing them. We had ducks growing up and they were so fun! Hope more people post!

I used to have rats (which aren’t that unusual but some people think they’re gross) but they have such short life spans. 🙁 They have such great personalities and are so clean and friendly! They used to sleep on my shoulder or on the back of the couch under my hair.

I used to have an Iguana, Sid, and all of my pictures are on my mother’s computer. He was the best!

ShhhItsaSecret:  Not sure if my pet counts as unusual given they are somewhat common. I no longer have him because he passed away, but this was Dallas our ferret. (Please excuse the beer bottle, don’t worry he didn’t get into it. My DH just thought it was funny to let him play with it).
