I can’t wait to see your new design, I love vintage! This is my grandmothers diamond that I had reset. And my cocktail ring that I have been wearing on my ring finger is vintage looking.

Much smaller than anything posted previously, but I think it’s so pretty and sweet. This was my grandmother’s ring:

And my mom’s set:

This is my engagement ring. It is inspired by Victorian rings.

EmeleeRose:  Thanks so much! I feel like those two are extra special. My mom gave me my grandmother’s ring this year, so that I could keep it for my daughter. I would love to have it resized so that I could wear it, but I feel a little guilty about doing it. I never knew my grandmother; she died when my mom was 6 years old, so it feels very special to have a little piece of her with us.

And my mom’s rings will always be incredibly sentimental and special to me. Because of seeing her set all through my childhood and, now, adult years, too, they have always stood in my mind as a sort of benchmark for “ring perfection” — LOL. Thankfully, my mom is still very much alive and well. And these rings are still on her finger, where they belong. (She let me do a little photo shoot with them the last time she and my dad visited.) My parents will be celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary in December!
