this is mine. Sorry it’s a four claw but you said any solitaire. I think your ring is from Tiffanys isn’t is? Lucky lady I’d love a Tiffany ring. Tiffany do a wedding ring similar to mine but I didn’t know that until after I’d chosen mine. I love mine because it’s kind of a traditional plain band with just a bit of added bling. I’m going to pair it eventually with a channel set band, hopefully from Tiffanys as an eternity ring. But it also looks great with a claw set ring and my solitaire. Happy ring shopping I’m sure you’ll find something amazing you can do so much with a solitaire!

I had the exact same problem. Didn’t know which kind of band to go with for several months until I settled on this one. It’s not too much or too little. Just enough sparkle to not take away from my 2 carat rock. Both the engagement ring and wedding band are from Tiffany’s.

I have the traditional Tiffany setting although custom since I wanted claw prongs and a more delicate band. 2.86 carat OEC with a 2.2 carat RB eternity band. I have another 1 carat to wear as well since I want to stack. FYI super bad finger swelling with this heat.

MrsBuesleBee:  Do you think the Tiffancy Etoile band would look good with your ring?  I love that band.  I haven’t look to see if it comes in YG, though.  My friend has it in either platinum or WG, but she wears it alone.

Traditional plain ring but it’s important to get the width right for balance.

MrsBuesleBee:  I agree you’d want to try it. It’s so pretty!

Yes, the Novo band! Thought I mentioned that, sorry! I was in between the Novo and the shared prong setting. I kept going back and forth. The shared prong obviously had more bling because the diamonds are bigger but I was afraid it would take away from my main rock. So what I did was take a picture of each with my ring and kept looking at it for a few days. And you know what? I honestly couldn’t tell them apart in the pictures. Neither was more beautiful than the other. So I just went with the Novo since it was also $1000 cheaper than the shared prong, which cost $2,900. My decision wasn’t really based on price, since my now husband had set a higher budget anyway. It was just that they both had the same effect on me. I ended up using that extra $1000 that he saved on my dream wedding shoes ;-). Good luck with your decision!

Here is my custom 6 prong in rose gold.  I paired it with a custom carved rose band, but I also already have a couple diamond and coloured gem stackers picked out 🙂

MrsBuesleBee:  I have a knife edge, 6 prongs RB solitaire and I will pair it with a custom shared prong eternity band. I asked the jeweler to make it exactly the same width as my ering (2mm) so it is well balanced. I tried lots of bands and the shared prongs was by far my favorite!

Here is my ering

And this is the band the jeweler is making (not my set, just the picture I showed the jeweler):
