I still need to post my wedding invitations and once I get it done, my wedding scrapbook, but that's pretty much my DIY in a nutshell. :)
Here are mine:
I still have a few more to do, but this is what I have done so far
@dodgercpkl: i LOVE the card box! Very nice!
@noritake22: Such inspiring DIY pics! It looks great!
*I can only hope my diy projects come out half as good as the both of yours!
@srearley: Thank you!! I had so much fun doing all of my projects, but my baby was my card box! :)
@noritake22: Love the whimsy of the card box! :) The bridesmaids dresses/boleros came out amazing!! And your paper products are making me think of putting a cricut on my wish list.... lol
My business card guestbook (it took me all weekend to make all of those tiny envelopes)
My will you be my bridesmaid cards
My table numbers (this one is screwed up and I need to fix it, but it's the only one I have a picture of right now)
Other DIYs I have done that I haven't taken pics of:
Thank you cards
In lieu of favor cards
DIYs in the works
2 banners for different locations at the reception
various sinage
The list of DIYs yet to be done is enormous.
@srearley: Thank you :-) DIYing is very time consuming, but it is so worth it.
@dodgercpkl: Thank you :-) The Cricut has more than paid for itself, and I know that I will keep using it, so it was a very good investment. If you put the Cricut on your wish list, make sure it is the Cricut Expression; you will get much more use from the big one, instead of the little one. I wouldn't have been able to make the favor boxes that I made for the sugar and the vanilla on the little one. I still have one more dress to finish up for the girls, but thank you for the compliment on them.
I ditto noritake22 on getting the Cricut Expression. You have so much more space to work with, and you don't have to worry about cutting your sheets of paper in half prior to cutting your design.
Mine paid for about half of itself with the little business card envelopes alone (even though they were a pain). I had ordered some from one of the paper companies, and they were $45 for 75 (I would have had to double that order after we started figuring out our guest list). I returned them.
I made 150 of them for $5 (pad of scrapbook paper, Black Friday sale at Michael's).
The pads of paper that buttontoes is commenting about are on sale for $9.99 at Joanns quite frequently and they will special order for you at the sale price, if you need more than what is on the shelf. Not on sale, I think they are $24.99. I wish I would have known about the Black Friday sale at Michaels. It would have been great to get some more paper, especially at that price.
@noritake22: Your list of DIY is amazing! And they all look so wonderful.
I haven't started any DIY yet. I feel the need to get on it, but also that it's a bit too early for a lot of it.
So amazing!!!! i love them all!!!! and yes DIY is so time consuming but its SOOOO rewarding at the end!!! Here are some of mine....im still not finished
oops: here they are
1. my Love letter/winebox in lieu of the Unity Candle ceremony
2. Kleenex tissue for those "Tears of Joy"
3. Ribbon Wands for the Ceremony exit and Reception use. Has a little bell up top to use as "kissing bells"
4. The idea of the Ribbon wands
5. The pic is not my actual DIY but its the concept of what all my guest tables will have.
Still pending my centerpieces...to be continued.... :)
i hope youre ready because i have a lot....=)
bubbles

cupcake stand (still a work in progress)

iSpy game for the tables

card holder
favor boxes
centerpieces

banner for the head table ( i thinkt hats where we'll put it)

guestbook (front)

guestbook (back)

(front page) activity book for kids

invitations (rough draft)

2 ribbon boards for seating cards

and lastly, personalized "activity boxes" for each "child" to keep them occupied =)

This is what I'm planning on doing for the centerpieces (but with green instead of peach), and I am contemplating putting our names on the vases and having that double as a favor at the end of the night.
@NotFridaythe13th:very nice!! May I suggest a more economical way to personalize the vases. You can personalize with the clear labels and a nice font (same as invitations). Stick them nicely to the vase-that way those who do not like 'personalized' favors can easily remove it and still keep the vase.
I did a poll on another site on personalizing favors and guests keeping or tossing! about 90% tossed. that hurts.lol
goodluck!!
Kelwin i can thank the bee for the iSpy game. it originally came from martha stewart but if it werent fo the bee i wouldnt have found out about it=)
blue is very in.

lol
@Kelwin: Thanks!! I love all your stuff, too! I'm always finding places for inspiration and I love this thread!
here is another DIY project I have. Its not finished yet. They are Hershey Kiss Rose buds. Being that I have 2 flowergirls and the Church does not allow the petals or anything, I decided to make these and have both girls hand out to each person (on both sides) in the aisle seats as they walk down the aisle. I still need to add the ribbon and a small tag that says: "A little Thank you "kiss" for sharing our special day". Will post it up the finished ones when Im done but thought it would be an inspiration to others. not a great picture but its to get the idea.
Here are some of mine, I had a bunch of other DIY projects but our photogs didnt take pics :( big sad face on that.

here's a post i did about my wedding details a few months ago. i DIY'ed everything except the ties, shoes, and garter. :)
