I’m undecided, too. There are so many beautiful options!

    I’m going for either:

    1. Pale Pink

    2. Nude/Pink

    3. Glitter (Silver or Gold)

Edit: Whoa, sorry. I tried to resize!

My FI just told me that he thinks french manicures look “weird” and asked me not to do one. Haha…okaaay!? I think they are nice, but fair enough. They are off the table! I’m thinking pale purple with silver glitter over top now.  Maybe a bright red!

I chose a simple but elegant french manicure.  🙂

I chose a simple, elegant French manicure — it was all regular nail polish on my natural nails only (no tips, no acryllic, no silk wraps, no gel, no glaze.)

@everyheart:  I love both of the “nude pink” colors you posted!  Do you happen to know the color names?

@sofiekitty:  I voted for blinged out but that’s just me 😉 I have crazy fun acrylics that I switch up every month. Just do what fits YOUR personality!

I loooove the lace… but I would limit it to accenting the tips or something (no full nail)

I did the timeless french tips but I loooove the idea of the lace as well!

Wish I could have had that! hehe

I voted for the third option! I really liked the look of the 2nd third option that you posted, if that makes sense. The one with the bottle of nailpolish in her hands.

I totally overdid mine but I absolutely loved them since… well.. it was a once in a lifetime thing.. they were done with powder and each flower designed petal by petal… it took nearly 3 hours to get them done….

This is 2 weeks later in the honeymoon

@sunshinebee:  According to Pinterest, the first one is Essie Topless and Barefoot and the second one is OPI Tickle My Franc-y. 🙂

@sofiekitty:  Me, too – I have to stop looking at nail options, because I keep getting more and more indecisive!

@sofiekitty:  Thank you! It’s actually pretty easy to do. I use an OPI base coat followed by only ONE coat of OPI’s “Hopelessly in Love” (which is a light,  nude/peachy/pink shade), followed by an opaque white color at the tips (and, by the way, I often start the white portion a bit lower than it really is), followed by a clear, Seche Vite top coat.

ETA:  My former manicurist taught me how to do this, and I do it all the time myself; however, she did my nails for my wedding.

I love the lace one! That’s actually my inspiration for my wedding day nails. My nail salon is FABULOUS, so I’m hoping they can recreate this look. I’m going to have them TRY to do it the month before, and as long as it turns out ok, I’ll do it for the wedding. If not, I’ll go with a classic french.
