Here is mine, I dnt have it yet and this is not me in the dress

Diamond white is actually not white white... it's supposed to be more ivory than white. So you want to see light ivory dresses that aren't quite true ivory, right?
Diamond white is still white. It may not be a bright white, but more so a softer white but its def not ivory.
I put my dress side by side with one that was ivory, and the ivory really looked yellow compared to the diamond white...
yay! thanks for chiming in.
i didn't know diamond white isn't white (seems counterintuitive, haha). but yeah, the spirit of the post was mostly to see non-ivory gowns. if that sounds like your dress, post away! would be nice to see some brown ladies represent, too. =)
Mine wasn't 100% white, as it's nearly impossible to dye silk that pure bright white like polyester. But it was white enough that even the whitest accessories, including pearls, looked creamy against it. It did make buying accessories difficult!
Compare it with my bouquet: Those were the whitest peonies my florist could find. She thought they were pure white! I really didn't want a yellowish bouquet with a white dress, but meh, I loved my bouquet anyway.

I don't think ivory is more flattering on everyone. Ivory is often a warm-toned colour, but lots of people suit cool tones much better. But that really depends on the exact shade of ivory, which is different for every brand and fabric type.
Yes, although my dress is ivory, I hate this dogma that no-one can wear white, and that you should stay away from it! It's totally untrue!
I've got white skin and black hair, and cream is the least flattering colour on me EVER, while white always looks great (like black, or red, it's a strong colour in it's own right, so if strong colours suit you, and pastels wash you out, go for white, IMO).
I only chose ivory because the veil I wanted only came in ivory, and I was satisfied that it wasn't washing me out too much. Champagne makes me look like death!
I don't have a pic of me in my dress yet, but my dress is white white. Here's a model pic:
My dress is diamond white (I was told it was an off-white, inbetween white and ivory).

I have a white dress! After ordering it, I was debating if I should have ordered ivory, but after getting more of a tan, I am happy with how the white looks on me:-)
I have a white dress.
I did try diamond white and it was very flattering. All designers are different, but Diamond White is like looking a white dress by candle light.
I have an off-white dress. When they showed me the color swatches the "true" white seemd to have a more blue undertone and the off-white had a more cream undertone, but they were both definately white. It reminded me of going to the hardware store and picking out the paint for my interior (I wanted white, I had no idea there were so many shades of white!)
beautiful dresses! white definitely looks good on some people... I, for one, look horrible (sallow and yellow) in ivory!
mine is diamond white, but it hasn't come in yet, and the sample is ivory, so can't share pics.
My dress is white...I tried it on in ivory with a champagne sash, but I liked the white better. (of course, a few months after I ordered it we changed colors and I could have gotten a purple sash..but oh well.)

Most ivories blended right in on me - my skin tone is almost exactly ivory so the dress just did not pop at all, I didn't want to look like I was hidding as one big blob of ivory.
I ended up with a soft white.
My dress is diamond white. I think it also depends on the material of the dress. I know some diamond white gowns look like an antique white and others look white white. Mine is slk mikado.

Nearly everyone in these parts chose ivory or champagne. They say 'white' doesn't really look good on anyone. Did you buck the trend and rock straight up diamond white? Let me see! =)
